I’ve been a DeLorean owner for almost 25 yrs. In those 25 yrs I’ve tried every cleaner out there. The best products to use is that liquor keepers friend to wash after an initial car wash for stains. Then don’t use Windex. Windex gives more of a dark dull look to the SS. Is Invisible glass cleaner. It works way better than Windex and gives more of a shine and less of a smear. Also never use any oil base polish. It will evaporate unevenly and will also draw dust and dirt like a magnet.

I prefer my Cybertruck streaked with mud 😁 but once in a while I've got to clean it up. This video is outstanding; thank you for your effort to find the very best process and products, and then teaching us. Did you pick yours up from Aurora, CO? My experience there was horrid. The panels were all dirty and discolored and several didn't line up right. Their response: accept the vehicle as-is or leave. Nobody but Tesla dares to be that bad. Tesla service in Superior, CO gave me the same "as-is" speech when I asked them to fix the panel alignment. They don't seem to understand that new vehicles purchased with a warranty are NOT sold "as-is." That word does not mean what they think it means. 😡

That’s exactly what I use to clean my SS kitchen appliances after nearly a decade of neglect. I’ve found that a regular wipe down with windex is all I need to keep them clean. But barkeepers friend cleaned off years of smudges, fingerprints and grime. Lots of water, gentle rubbing with the sponge side of a blue scrubber with just a bit of cleanser, thorough rinsing with wet rag, and then final cleaning with windex. Perfection!

Enjoyed your details video was curious about what you were using on cyber truck. Looks like you’re having trouble finding some. I’m going to suggest an industrial option. This is in industrial applications as well as we use it on taker Trucks. you first have to clean the stainless of all debris iron deposits, etc., but it will keep the fingerprints off as well as bugs and iron Deposits EVERBRITE COATINGS there’s two different types in a kit. A little bit goes along way I recommend thin coating’s . CrobialCoat with Microban I recommend this one. But the other one is called. ProtectaClear and then there’s the original. Everbrite Coating for Architectural Metal unfortunately without knowing exactly the type of stainless steel I’m not sure what is going to work best for your application, but I pretty much guarantee one of these will do what you want they’ve been around for a long time in the industrial industry and the protection last a long time longer than ceramic it’s kind of the ceramic coating for stain. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I put Everbrite on mine. It works well but there are a few things you need to know to get it right. First off you need to put multiple coats each super thin. If you do it thick it will not come out nice. Also I found that the suede applicators work, but that can have issues. To fix it I found that if you get, one of my favorite things from Amazon, AA cleanroom cloth wipes double knit 100% polyester with ultra fine filaments, laser sealed edge class 100 wipes. Wrap the suede applicator with a clean room wipe. Use that to apply the Everbrite in a super thin coat. Let it dry and keep applying until all the rainbow sections are gone. It will be super nice. There is another issue you should know. The Everbrite scratches and some chemicals will eat at it. If that happens just get your applicator with the wipe on it and just touch up that one spot. It will fix it in one quick wipe. If it's really bad you can use acetone to clean off one spot and redo it you don't need to strip the whole panel. Overall I really like Everbrite, but it does take a small about of care. Oh side not the AA clean room wipes are excellent for cleaning optics gear like camera lenses. Use the wipe last to finish cleaning a camera lens and it will look new.
