Buying these products is so frustrating! Just bought Sirona Zi i-size, this has integrated base, and Sirona Z i-size does not have and it is removable. This is not said anywhere. Same with other cybex produts, you need always a manual to understand how the product works and you can use it.

We just got the Sirona i-size and attached it to our cloud z base. Can the Sirona be used with just seat belts too ?

Hi there, all Sirona model always have to be used with a base. It is not possible to install the Sirona only with the 3-point-seat belt of your car.

I wish when they made the cybex sirona s I wished they would have included some of the features that the cybex sirona z i-size 360 has like the ability to take the car seat off the base and switch it out with an infant car seat or if your 2 year old falls asleep in the car seat you could take the convertible car seat part off the base and carry it into your house or store or wherever else you may need it and plus you could have 2 or more bases one in every car and just take the car seat off the base and put it in a different car that has another base for the car seat the only thing I would like to see added to the base is the ability to install the base with the car seatbelt too so it could be use in older vehicles that don't have the lower anchor latch system

Als erstes mal das ding wackelt wie ein Kuhschwanz. Ich kann nicht verstehen wie das Qualitätsware sein soll. Als zweites ist es nicht möglich den Sitz auf einmal um 180 Grad zu drehen, speziell von der Rücken zur Fahrtseite auf die Rücken zur Rückseite. Der Sitz bleibt in etwa 135 Grad stecken, wie das funktionieren soll ist uns ein Rätsel, Wir haben nun schon den zweiten im Tausch erhalten und er funktioniert nicht so wie hier im Video beschrieben. Ich hätt den Sitz ja erst garnicht genommen weil er einfach zu lumpig aussah, aber meiner Frau gefiel die Farbe....

What base are they using in this video? Base z or base z one?? I have been using Cybex cloud z seat with base z. Bought this Sirona z i size seat and put it on base z and can’t even get my fingers in to even rotate it

Hi Annie! The base in the video is the Base Z. In order to rotate, you use the same lever used to recline the seat. The green/grey buttons are used only with the Cloud Z. Let us know if you have any more questions.

Hi! You can remove the cover and machine wash it at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle with a mild detergent.

You say it Gas 5 recline Position but in this video I see just 3 and that‘s our Problem ... it is not flat enough For our 6 Months old Baby (that begins to sit). When he fells asleep he hangs fortwarf and that is extremly dangerous!!!!

Hi Jonas, thanks for your question! The Sirona Z, Sirona Zi, and Sirona Q car seats each fulfill different UN safety standards. The Sirona Z i-Size fulfills UN R129/02, the Sirona Zi i-Size fulfills UN R129/03, and the Sirona Q i-Size fulfills UN R129/01.

We have this one and this video makes it look too easy because the guy is not installing the seat in an actual car! He moves freely around this fake seat. In an actual car it’s actually quite a pain in the neck...please make more realistic instruction videos, Cybex!

Got the exact same problem, no clue how to fix this. In their reply I see that I need to switch a little red switch in the backrest. No clue what they mean with this and no such action is presented in their videos or manual. Edit: found it, but please update your manual. Because it looks like this is a new system and your manual isn’t updated. Edit: found it and found the error. In the Dutch version of the manual you are never re-directed to the chapter “rotating”. In the English version you are re-directed.

What is the difference between z i-size and s i-size?

The Sirona Z has slightly better fabrics and impact protection. The major difference is that the Sirona Z has a separate base and can be detached from its base whereas the Sirona S has a integrated base, hence it cannot be detached and is fixed. Otherwise both can swivel 360 degrees.

Both car seats are rear-facing seats designed for children from birth up to 105 cm (approx. 4 years) and comply with the requirements of the i-Size standard (UN R129). The biggest difference between both seats lies in their design language and (safety) features. The CYBEX Sirona Z i-Size is the newest edition of the Platinum car seats, follows a new design DNA and incorporates the latest safety research developments. In this context, it is equipped with magnetic belt holders instead of belt loops (as it is for the Sirona S i-Size). Together with the Cloud Z i-Size, the Sirona Z i-Size completes the first Platinum Z-Line Modular System of our car seats. Indicators on the Base confirm the correct installation. Both seats are equipped with the same restraint system. The child is secured with a five-point harness system. The integrated Driving Direction Control prevents children from traveling in the forward-facing position before 16 months of age and 76 cm of height. The clever rotation mechanism of the Sirona S i-Size and Sirona Z i-Size makes it easy to change between the rear-facing and forward-facing positions without having to take the seat out. Getting the child in and out is also easy as the seat can be turned to the side facing the door. The safety features of both seats include the integrated Side-impact Protection System, otherwise known as the L.S.P. System for additional safety in case of a side-impact collision.

Hi! It seems like you're trying to use the rotation buttons for the Cloud Z i-Size. They can be ignored with the Sirona Z i-Size as you use the button/lever at the front of the Sirona Z to rotate.
