Blame that on the execs and the non-existent budgets, the artists would be willing to work harder probably if the job didn't pay pennies, but since the yen crash the budgets allowed to modern animation have only shrunk. High quality anime thrived in the 80's through 2000's because of yen boom money and now it's all gone.

I don't understand the "stuck in acceleration" part, we can clearly see that acceleration mode makes you move faster so that things appear to move slow but never in a standstill, the very first moments and other moments have bullets and water droplets clearly falling but just very slowly, yet somehow the "stuck in acceleration" episode shows acceleration mode as this super fast near light speed movement where everything seems to stop.

まあ、物理学的にみておかしい話は・・・、一応言っておこうか。飛び降りちゃいけない。アレは重力加速度の話だから、加速しててもゆっくりとしか降りて行けいない（本人の意識ね）。 加速装置を使うと、運動性能は上がるが、全ての物理学的力学は残るので、例えば曲がろうとすれば相当な慣性を受けることになるし、前述の通り、下方向には下方に蹴らない限り加速しない。結構めんどうなのよSFを描こうとすると。
