Cycle & Camp - Bristol and Bath Railway Path - Frome

A microadventure with Wen from Bristol to Bath and onwards to Frome where we camped for the night. We arrived at the 'Camping in Nature at Veg Valley', which was beautiful! The campsite is raw as it can be, equipped with composting toilets, bucket for cold shower, fireplace and nature!
The Bristol and Bath railway path is a very picturesque and chill ride! I highly recommend if you wish to explore Bath from Bristol for the day, or vise versa. We also managed to try out the bikepacker tarp from DD Hammock, which is very lightweight and minimal for the summer days.

This inspired me to get out on the bike.I hadnt done a long ride since having a big crash last year. Live in Bristol and the ride looked so nice that I copied you by going to Vallis Veg campsite for the night. Keep adventuring!

Woot woot, Jon! 🙌🙌🙌 Man, I have been riding and delivering as a bike messenger in Bristol and there is a whole more to discover about this place! Uni has started, I have been into a bunch of departmental events, delivering their catering. So much has changed! So many new chill spots, quirky interiors and the youngsters are all up to date with their fashion! Makes me miss uni time so so much...hope you're doing well there, buddy! Would love to visit Canada at some point! 😇
