Such a amazing sport for a child to grow up doing.... Unfortunately when I was this kids age they didnt have the junior dragster class so I spent my childhood watching my dad tear up the track untill I turned 16 and had my 1970 Chevelle at the track every weekend.... I have been doing it since I was 16 and never stopped. Drag racing is my passion.

@notreal-duh Obviously you never participated in the "SPORT" of drag racing... A hell of a lot goes on in the drivers seat as you go from 0 to 145 mph in 9 seconds.... But let me guess you play soccer and you feel that is a sport. Its just kicking a ball... It takes a lot of concentration it takes a lot of skill to compete in the "SPORT" of drag racing. Not to mention what you need to know to build a engine. So you can just stick to your video games and your little kitty cat.... the men will be at the dragstrip.

I drag race along with three of my four siblings and it is certainly not cheap! my two older siblings are adults and pay for themselves but me and my younher brother are in juniors. We barley have the money for anything else and the worst part is you have to pay to get in the track to race along side all the stuff we have to buy to keep our cars going

Best thing ever happened to me was going broke.... now instead of worrying about money, I am living in a house on land with everything inside its borders paid for absent my yearly tax extortion voluntary involuntary theft payment to the county for the ability to keep something I paid for..... And I'm home 24/7/365 if I want to be..... I've learned a whole new way of life that I love by going broke in a way of life I hated (and being too weak in my character at the time to stop a half million dollar Lortab addiction)..... Regardless of how I got here, I'm thankful because now instead of walking around wth 1000 in my pocket thinking I was broke, I usually have less than 20 in cash but always have a suitcase of silver close by, and I think I'm rich..... success is in no way defined by a number in a bank account..... The number one status symbol among these days is a long marriage, a paid off mortgage, and children who still come around.....
