cycling 100k in the Lake District - full loop around Coniston Water

Great scenery. Love the lakes, used to travel over regularly, hiking and Wainwright bagging , but not been for a while. Never cycled there. Only time I did the Old Man was when I was doing my mountain leader training. The weather was atrocious, wind and rain, we ended up taking the opportunity to practice using an emergency shelter on the old man 😀

Thank you, I did hiking for over 20 years done the wainwrights a few times, I damaged my hip a few years ago so took up cycling. I’m hoping to but some hiking the Wainwrights videos this year 😊

Battery lasted full ride but didn’t use it for 1st 35 miles and had 18% left at end of ride 😊

Hi Dave, Nice ride and lack of traffic is great, thought there would still have been quite a few tourists in November. Slight change of subject re: Garmin 530 computer. Have you ever got the message "E-bike sensor battery low" and sometimes "critical". I get this message quite often and as the Mahle System has only one main battery it can't be that. Let me know if you have experienced this. Best regards John.

Hi John, I try to keep to the quiet lanes, not many in the lakes but you can find a few. On the garmin I do get that a lot myself, don’t know why as the battery is fine. If you are ever worried about battery check status in the mahle app, that’s usually bang on 😊
