A great compilation of incompetent driving....! 👍🏻 The left hook at 1:10 and pull out at 1:52 were really bad 🙈

It's the left-hand turn onto the Super Highway that can be the hitter. Also, Police and Buses just pulling into the lane. I have put out a vid of some near misses between Woodford and Farringdon.

The left hook at 1:10 is not great, but the design on that section of road is utterly atrocious! Parked cars blocking the view of cyclists from cars on the main road. I can't really bring myself to blame the driver, he didn't have much of a chance to see you, by the time he can see you (around 1:08) then you're right on top of him (at 1:11)... that's only 3 seconds and for most of those you were in his blind spot. That's one example of where I'd avoid riding in the cycle lane and stay on the road where I'm more visible!

I think the main solution to this problem is to stop, look and proceed when it's clear. After all, he drove across a lane without the intention to even look.

A safe place for pedestrians to cross the road, they have priority. Something that I will not compromise for my own convenience.
