This was a relaxing enjoyable series to watch, I’ve watched all them over two evenings. It’s great seeing the landscapes change from the vast farm land of northern France to the forests and hills of central then onto the more arid river valleys of southern France. My family have a 2 home near Cahors ,Dordogne. The places in your vids look so familiar. Fair play to you soldering on even though you were sick! Most would of given up. Inspirational. Look forward to more vids. Thanks and all the best

Well done mate Watched them all now. I live in the Lot valley in sw france so I know a good bit of the route you took. Tbh, the entry to Spain that way ain’t the prettiest at the border through La joncara but you got there. Watch your arse in Spain around Barcelona etc … can be a bit bandit territory Anyway, well done

Amazing! Thank you for watching all the videos so far. I know what you mean about the Spanish side of the border. It gets prettier a few miles down the road which is nice. Thank you for the advice, I had a few warnings about Barcelona while travelling. Thankfully I made it through safely and returned home in good heath :) I hope you're having a nice New Year so far!

Nice one mate! Quite an achievement indeed 👍next time in France though, just contact me as I'd been able to guide you along nicer roads for sure: such a shame you didn't get to experience the coastal route (yet). Bring on the next episode..

I set Komoot on gravel ride all of the time. I prefer those back gravel roads over paved with cars.
@Geocycling1993 Жыл бұрын
Oh, interesting! I can see the appeal, as the roads are quieter and safer. I am always paranoid l'm going to have a puncture with a fully loaded bike. Thank you for watching :)
@colinwellman9480 Жыл бұрын
@@Geocycling1993 I feel the same about the back roads. Much quieter and safer and often much prettier. Punctures are a risk but with the right tyres the risk can be lessened. Well done for sticking with it, feeling ill and with some way to go isn't pleasant. Thanks for sharing.
@Geocycling1993 Жыл бұрын
Maybe it is something I need to get into more! I'm probably being over cautious haha. I do appreciate the quieter areas though, it is so nice to be somewhere with next to no road noise. Thank you :) I appreciate it!

Who was the laden cyclist in front of you at the start. Did you speak to him?
@Geocycling19939 ай бұрын
I'm not sure if you mean the guy from a previous video? If it is, then I recall that we didn't speak a common language so we just exchanged a hello and a smile :)
