Thank you so much for your continual support and fab comments Sophie. I hope the weather in Tenerife is much warmer than it is over here at present. I have too many jobs to do on the house at present after all the cycling this year but once they are done, I'll be back out filming on the bike .

Nice one Daz, first time I have seen you walk up a climb, looked like lots of fun with your mates, you ride close together and some scary moments on overtaking. Got a ride out thus week to Disley and New Mills around 35 mile round trip on mtb. Nice to see a new vid, look forward to the cobbled climb again, cheers Alan.

Hello Alan, I have 2 bikes, one is for hilly sportive rides which I know will get me up any hill in UK. The bike I rode on this day is generally ok for most hills but on a super steep one like this I'm not interested in proving anything to be honest. If I would have known it was that steep I would have done something about it, either a bike change or cassette change. Anyway can I thank you for your comments and have a safe journey on your next ride pal .
@alanwills47213 жыл бұрын
I have bought a carbon bike, with triple chainring with 11 - 34 cassette, hoping this will help me on big hills this summer.

Another cracking video Daz, those butties looked a bit yum 😋. I've managed to clock a fair few miles this last week. Not as many as you guys, 112 which is good for me and I've finally found a decent bank to go up which was fun. Keep those videos coming!! 🙂

Another wonderful hitch hike with you and your happy group Daz, wasn’t sure if I would make it, injured my back a few weeks ago, wasn’t interested in that steep climb either I think you mentioned something about a mountain goat previously! this has been another time capsule for me, e’ons since visiting ‘Skipton’ am I correct in thinking 🤔 there is a petrified well there! I vaguely remember leaving some object for future reference, but never went back! thank you 😊. Daz for a lovely trip around Yorkshire, I could murder that butty, weetabix isn’t going to cut it! 😞

Good ride fellas. Not a criticism, just an observation, you did a lot of main road work there which could have been avoided with a little bit of map work beforehand. Also you went right past my house in Barnoldswick. 🙂
@MrDazP1adv3ntures Жыл бұрын
Hello Russell, we use main roads, B roads, dirt tracks, you name it. On this ride we stuck to conventional routes. I do a lot of solo rides where quite often I use back lanes to navigate.BTW I believe they call Barnoldswick , Barlic too 😁
