Cycling Leon to Ponferrada along the Camino on day 5 of 2000km ebike tour of north Spain

I rode this last year on the Frances, and this year between Leon and Astorga as I rode the Via Ruta de la Plata southwards. Nice to see some familiar landmarks. :)

done that route (i think) in 2007 .a group of us cycled the camino from bilbao to santiago, great tour very tough in places.great video .

Were you following the main route (in which case you’d probably have crossed the mountains to meet it at Burgos) or one of the coastal routes - there seem to be about 8 of them
