Forgive me for smiling at your ambush for I have experienced a similar experience with 2 dogs here in Ireland. Mind you sometimes dog owners that allow their dogs to attack sorry did I say attack I ment roam freely when cycling in the forest can turn out to be more of a challenge and I am not referring to the dogs. As always I enjoy watching your adventures

Indeed I’ve had a couple here as well although far less frequent than they were 20 years back

Galicia is amazing for cheap and good food. The "problem" is that walking or cycling all day long is not even nearly enough to burn all the calories off. Traditional food is heavy on calories and quantities are off the roof.
