@restlesswikiinfo: As expected, it depends on where the bicycle is left, how long and how it looks like. For outside parking most use the inbuild lock and/or an additional chain. You would be surprised how many bicycles are not locked at all outside the big cities.

@restlesswikiinfo When you buy a bicycle in the Netherlands it will come with a wheel lock as a standard option. You can upgrade them but you'll pay extra. In most city's people will buy a motorcycle chain lock, and use it to lock their bike to a signpost or a tree.

+calinutzzz because the bikes rattle and shake allot with high pressure tires, personally I put about 5 bar/72 psi in my ATB bike and 4 bar/58 psi in my normal daily bikes (total of 6 bikes in my family/house LOL)
