Cycling Patagonia - An Autumn Adventure // A Documentary

Our two month journey through Patagonia proved to be one of our greatest experiences yet, and an incredible conclusion to 11 months and 12,760 km cycling in South America.
From late-March to mid-May 2023, we rode 2,500 km through the breathtaking Patagonian wilderness, and essentially had the whole place to ourselves. For us, cycling Patagonia at the beginning of the low-season was therefore one of the best decisions we've ever made, and we were even surprised by the beauty of the spectacular autumn (fall) colors.

While watching the episode again, some stories stand out as alluring (the Dog and Day 665 Villa O'Higgins, for example), so I have to comment on them explicitly. Mission accomplished, Aspiration fulfilled! What a journey full of joy and delight. The smile and the hi-five on the "USHUAIA fin del mundo" landmark speak volumes of the massive achievement. The Dog escort for many kilometers made me a little curious, and I even considered it an Angelic Escort as our life is full of mysteries (highs and lows); who knows? The outlandish Patagonia experience is over and curated to nostalgia, forever looking out beyond the Pacific onto the land of the Kangaroo. Amazing!!

This is an incredibly interesting and entertaining video,,,,Thank you! I am a Welshman living in Japan and there is a sizable Welsh community living there in Patagonia. I was aware of the link, and the history but knew nothing of the regions beauty! My wife - who is Japanese loves all things Welsh, she knew of the link because I had told her - I played rugby against an Argentinian team and there were several players of Welsh ancestry in that team,,,,,she was blown away - as we both were by the beauty.
