This list will be a great idea, especially for novices (and as a long-time rider I would be interested in your takes). I second all the ones you mentioned (particularly Being Seen) and Riding at Night, plus: A pre-ride bike checklist • Riding in the rain • Trail riding etiquette • Washing your bike • When to replace consumables (rim brake pads, disc brake pads, chain, tires). 😎. PS: do those tan sidewall Ikons ride as great as they look? Been lusting after them….

Maybe a video with tips on choosing safe routes? (Routes for commuting could be separate from touring, although they share some things in common.) Also, I second gregg r's comment on pre-ride checks and riding in wet weather.

By a country mile, the biggest safety issue cyclists have (and why gravel/off-road touring has exploded in recent years) is the all mighty automobile. Anything around keeping safe WHILE SHARING THE ROAD WITH CARS I think would be awesome. Great intro, ladies. Cheers.

Start with the two basic subjects: the rider and the bike. 1. What is important to fit perfect on my bike. Visit a bike fitter physio specialist. What parameters are important. 2. Can my bike carry the load for my trip? How to find out the max. load system weight for my bike and how can I pimp it for higher loads? Safety is, when I don't get muscle problems on the trip, or broken spokes due to too much weight and a low max weight limit of my bike. Keep on going Dietrich from Germany
