CYCLING THE PAMIR
We took our bikes to Central Asia and cycled along Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan not really knowing what to expect of this journey. This video tells my personal story about overcoming fears and facing I challenge I never knew could conquer.

I left Vietnam from 6 years ago for working in Paris, then I left my job the end of last year after 5 years working in a creative studio to be a freelance art director. Thing got hard at the beginning og the time but now I can be able to travel and work at the same time more often, I found your channel from your cycling video about Norway when I was planning to make a cycling trip from Finse to Flam. Amazing ride and awesome camera work! One question: I want to plan a cycling trip to this region--it seems like you guys didn't like Western Tajikistan as much. Would it be possible to do an interesting circle just around Kyrgyzstan and maybe also do Akbaital in Tajik? Starting in Osh or, the other option, starting in Bishkek and do a circle from there?

We didn't make it to Western Tajikistan - We finished our trip in Dushanbe and flew out of there. Tajikistan (not on the plateau) was tougher in terms of temperatures and dryness. We had to stop every day between 12:00 and 16:00 to hide from the sun. If you have limited time, then I'd recommend Kyrgyzstan over Tajikistan. Both countries are very amazing but very different. Some people do a loop from Osh to Murghab on the M41 and then return to Kyrgyzstan over the Bartang Valley. =)

@@BelleToscan Oh, yes, sorry, I meant "western" part of the Pamir highway :) Yeah, it seems like the highlights are more in Kyrgyzstan and then the first part of the M41 out of Osh... we are debating this or India, Manali to Leh. Thanks again, and enjoy the US!
