Hi Ste, I'm still trying to see what the best audio settings are for the mic. I used a lower sensitivity setting on this one and it stops it overdriving .

Nice little vid, cafe in Hebdon looks similar to the one I stopped at in 2015 before heading off to do Stocks Lane climb 😉👍

Nice one Paul, you could start a ride from Hebden Bridge and easily clock over 10,000 ft in elevation gain by going up all the lanes in this area.

Nice wheels on Mike's Bianchi Daz, they look like Campagnolo Shamals which is what I ride with. Sometimes the short rides are the best, we did a 40 miler club ride from Formby down to Maghull up to Mere Brow then back to Southport for our Remembrance Ride. - bit sketchy on that Preston Bypass with all the cars, I was on the front so I jumped out of the junction and went ful gas. We then chainganged it to Southport for the service. Didn't take us long, around a 23mph avg I think over 6 miles.

Mike likes the Wheelset John and they do look good too. Also 23mph ain't too shabby either n' like you say it's good to mix things up with the rides from time to time and have a wee blast. I think the mild weather will change soon so we need to make the most of it ...

Nice little ride, love Hebden Bridge, went their a few weeks ago, had a meat and tatty pie from bakery on the corner. Hoping for a ride on Wednesday to one of your usual haunts, Uppermill out through Mosley and Greenfield. Can't wait for Glasson Dock ride, my father used to work their when we lived at Galgate, will bring back memories, keep safe mate.

Thank you Alan, it is a beautiful part off the north west of England and a great place to ride. It's steeped in history also as a port. Hope you are keeping well pal.

I can't ride a bike unless I'm locked in ! It is so much more efficient to keep moving and for getting up the climbs in particular

Hey Daz, I have always been a fan of yours and always impressed by the quality of your vids. I was thinking of doing some of my own vids on some of the long distance stuff that I do. I would be grateful if you could share some info on the tech that you use when recording your videos. Thanks in anticipation. 👍🍺

Hi Nick, I use a GoPro Hero 8 for the chest mount clips and a Session 4 for the other clips such as seat post mounted shots or when it's a shot from a wall or something like that. I've recently started using a Sony UX 560 audio recorder too because the hero 8 audio is poor when moving on the bike. The editing software is Adobe Premiere elements, this can be in many versions - 10,11,12,13.........right up to the latest 2022 version, it's simple to use and effective.
