great explanation! ive been doing research on cyclodextrins because i intend to try and complex beta ecdysterone. would you mind a question on easy methods of achieving this? would simply mixing both at a 1:1 ratio in water suffice?

According to a 2018 study (and mainstream ecdysteroids) all the efficacious ratios are 1:1. Furthermore, all methods of mixing (manual, solution) are shown to be effective. However, the only process so far that actually forms a complex is by mixing ten compounds in water, and then freeze drying the solution. Hope this helps!

@@ojpimpson3343 is hydroxy propyl cyclodextrin safe orally? Cause I saw a study showing when injected it caused permanent hearing loss.

@@larrytate1657 Yes its shown to he orally safe in humans. In mice is where that hearing loss study occurred but present day b cyclodextrin is in a lot of medicines.

it's because of the intramolecular hydrogen bonds between secondary hydroxyls, reducing the possibility of hydration with the surrounding water molecules.
