It looks like an out of body experience, like in a dream, the night footage , with the moon, and everything. Cool stuff. Amazing that you can film yourself "in third person". Cheers

Reach out to MrMayArt for help. Worst case I'm sure that you can buy another remote

I have the same light. It's better to angle it down more so you can see when going downhill and use the high beam as you need to. Just what I do.

Great idea. I'll give that a shot

Would love to see this in action! At some point, can you make a night video showing your setup? Would love to see how your setup compares to Marty's from this video

This is what I do, too

I watch all of your videos in +1.5 speed. try it. Anyways great video- I have the Kingsong s16pro and the lights on it are fantastic- I actually dimmed them to 13%.

I never watch my own videos 😆

Hey Marty, I have the same light. To make it easier to access the fob quickly, I have it mounted to the top of my left wrist guard. It's velcroed on (so it's fixed and easy to find) and also tethered on as a backup so I don't lose it if the velcro fails. I am able to reach across quickly with my right hand for sudden adjustments at night since it's not dangling off my body.

Thank you Marty for making this video. This was really helpful!

I saw you used the Anker Rechargeable Bolder LC90 LED Flashlight, Pocket-Sized Torch with Super Bright 900 Lumens CREE LED, back in 2020 when I was riding KS 16S so I bought one too for winter. Now I use IMALENT MS03 EDC Flashlight 13000 Lumens, Cree XHP70.2nd LEDs. Most Powerful for its normal size from a reliable company

Thanks for sharing. Yeah, I have also since upgraded to a better light.

I have the cyclope pro and I think it's better, I made a video on it, the light is wider, there is 2 leds (one for low beam and one for high beam) and there is only 1 led on at full power unlike the Halo who turns the 2 leds on (for high beam) and reduce the power (I think) of each led.

Think you could talk them into making a bar version to be a direct replacement for the crappy Master headlight?
@fixman883 ай бұрын
Yeah, the High Beam is just the same, only brighter. My car (a 2013 Chevy Volt) uses a single LED headlight assembly (I upgraded) insead of the single halogen bulb. High Beams on it are done by the car raising a shutter which normally blocks the upper part of the light beam; it doesn't have separate bulbs or filaments for High and Low Beam. My scooter (a Segway Ninebot E45) has a single brightness LED headlight that has a shaped beam rather than a round one like yours. The old Sherman headlight looks like it has a pair of TIR (Total Internal Reflection) LED lens assemblies which are probably extremely 'Floody', which would explain why it was blinding people.

Then it sounds like the Chevy volt has inferior headlamps because my cars, when I turn on the high beam, the light is much brighter

Hey fellow Volt owner here as well (2011)! Love that other Volt owners are into PEVs as well ❤. Stock lights aren't good at all. I upgraded to Auxito LEDs and the difference is night and day

City should pay ya for patrolling the river banks at night 😏. Ensuring safety for everyone 😁✌️. I like the halo feature, looks cool enough to get😎.

I stopped caring about stock lights on wheels or even custom ones for that matter. No matter how good they are, their flaw is always pointing where your wheel is pointing. I want to be able to see what is around me at night as well. A secondary helmet-mounted or handheld light is mandatory for me. That’s how I ended up buying the world’s brightest flashlight. It goes from 80 lumens to a staggering 200,000 lumens. I won’t mention the brand name here, but it’s easy to find with a quick search. It starts with an ‘I’ and the model ends in ‘32.’ If you’ve ever wanted to ride at night when fewer people are around but the darkness intimidates you, good news: You can now turn the night into day and explore the night with confidence! ⚡️🔦🤙

I got the same light, and it works differently for me. The high beam is an extra light field above the low beam.

For me, it helps when I ride off-road. I use low beam when riding downhill and high beam when riding uphill. If you know what I mean.
@ElectricUnicycles3 ай бұрын
That's how mine works. I thought I said that in the video. The high beam does not make the overall light brighter though, like a high beam does in a car.

Is the light function the same as the beidou one? It has a mechanical solenoid to cover some of the light for low beam.
@ElectricUnicycles3 ай бұрын
I'm not familiar with that one but this does not have any mechanical moving parts.

I'm at 650 on my lynx, I have over 1k on the Sherman S Both of my lights are just fine. Is the light on the Sherman L not bright enough? 🧐
@ElectricUnicycles3 ай бұрын
You honestly can never have too much light when riding in very dark situations. And also it's nice to be kind to your fellow human and not blind them with your light :-)

I wonder if auto leveling would help
@ElectricUnicycles3 ай бұрын
No. When the pedals tilt up (you are going downhill) you would want the light to point down. When the pedals tilt down (you are going uphill) you want the light to point up
