If you check out the song off of the True Colors album, it features Niles Rogers on guitars and The Bangles on backing vocals. The Bangles were in the same recording studio as Cyndi working on tracks for their album "Different Light" and Cyndi invited them in to help on vocal harmonies. The rest is history.
