I wash 3 times. I treat the scalp, then wash the strands. When people ask what I do to grow me & my two daughters' hair long, I tell them wash it. Washing is the most important part of any hair regimen. Everyone who asks me about haircare thinks I'm using some special products. We swim 2-3 times a week. Chlorine is no joke. I wash to avoid dryness and breakage from the chlorine.
