Разница между Брзенком и многими другими борцами в том, что он, во-первых, уже около 40 лет в этом спорте бессменно и за время его спортивной карьеры уже целые поколения пришли и ушли, а Брзенк стоит годами как камень в реке, который обтекает вода.. )) Во-вторых, он из тех, кто не наращивает вес до 170 кг, а бицуху до 60, держится в категории примерно от 90 до 100, и главное - не тащит в спорзалах на бицепс разные невероятные гантели и штанги, не работает со свободным весом и почти не работает на тренажерах, всё, что он показывает за столом - это исключительно на спаррингах и подготовке с живым соперником, спарринг-партнерами. Судя по его сортивному долголетию, феноменальным успехам и силе, сохраненной когда человеку уже под 60, это и есть самая правильная стратегия.

Sadly, I think that at the very least that about 33% of the old Denis is gone forever. That medical condition really took it out of the poor guy. I was devastated watching the deterioration of Denis because he was a monster who was still on the rise when this happened. A truly unique genetic monster. If Denis never got sick and kept getting stronger, he would have definitely given Levan an amazing match without a doubt in my mind. I think that with his current physique and, given the age of both him and John... JOHN 🏆
