The Houston area is one of the places we are considering moving to in 2023. We will be in that area this coming July to drive around and look at some places. Cypress is one of the areas we will be looking at. How did Cypress do in the recent floods?

Not well, if I'm being honest. It floods pretty badly in our area, depending on which neighborhood you live in. I think it's because so many of you outsideds keep coming over and flooding and crowding everything, causing more roads to be made rapidly. Our schools had the same problem, though judging from your profile photo, your kids are probably too old to have to worry about that issue, if you have any.

No walkways, no bike paths, liquor stores are big, underpasses(highway intersections dirty) looks unhealthy just like Houston.

@@plum2843 Maybe inside neighborhoods, sure, but in major streets with businesses and whatnot, bike lanes makes sense.
