Cypress Hill is my favorite hip/hop band of all time. Cypress Hill was 420 before 420 was a thing.

it doesn't matter what you sample or even what lyrics you write. it's all about the delivery and Cypress Hill deliver everytime. 😎

I remember hearing this song late one night on MTV as a teenager and was blown away by the bass line combined with the squeaking effect, then the chorus kicked in and it was instantly a favorite. They never played it again though and I had to eventually go out and and get the album.

I never really liked hip hop in general but there was something about Cypress Hill that was different. I spent so much time listening to these guys when I was younger.

I pity you friend lol ;)) I saw Cypress Hill live at Canada's Wonderland in 1995 just as they were hitting super stardom. I was 13 in Grade 8, and we just happened to go, with the school, on the day that Cypress Hill played one of their deadliest shows ever!!! You could hear it perfectly around the whole park. And since EVERYBODY was pumpin this gold 24/7 even at 13 we knew all the "naughty words" lol! So great! We were freaking pumped! And then next year we all started smoking weed too...etc etc ....etc....lol............Then I saw them live again at UP in SMOKE TOUR 2000 or 99 i cant remember. Bro Westside Connection Opened, Eminem put on one hell of a show! Snoop (seen him 3-4 times lol) and Dr.Dre did a set, and Ice Cube did a solo set too which was sick. So much fun dude.
