0:17 Cyprus Republic asked help from the UN in order to keep us safe from the 40.000 turkish occupation military troops, not to keep the peace between the 2 communities. Also, from 2017 to 2021, 40.000 illegal immigrants passed the Buffer zone, from the occupied part of Cyprus to the free part. So the question here is, do they really patrol the place? or they are doing vacation in the sun? Thanks

All inclusive holiday for UN “Peacekeepers” could you please give me one concrete example where UN established “peace”. From 1950’s to 1963! EOKA and Greek mercenaries were raping, killing Turkish Cypriots. So where were the UN 🇺🇳 peacekeepers at that time? Republic of Cyprus was established between Turks and Greeks with equal politic sovereignty but differences as per population. Folks stop bulshit, so called republic lasted only 3 years when Makarios declared secret Acritas Plan to capture and expel Turks out of Cyprus. Turkish Operation has brought island peace not UN. After 50 years of endless negotiations with no results, it’s time for recognition Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. A two-state solution will provide settlement, two neighboring countries can work together. Property issue is easy and manageable both sides will benefit. I know because we left our house too.

@@lion1368 - it's not incorrect. The qualifying 'Tours' for both the ACSM 1 & 2 are those which merited: 1 General Service Medal 1962-2007 (Northern Ireland, Air Ops Iraq) 2. Operational Service Medal (Sierra Leone, Afghanistan) 3. Iraq Medal. You'll notice that Cyprus isn't on that list.

Let me tell you right away, the years show 1961, the Greeks are killing thousands of people and raiding the villages in order to realize their plan, which they call enosis. As a result of this genocide against the Turks, Turkey carries out an operation on the island and peace is ensured for the Turks on the island.

So it’s time for international recognition Turkish Cypriots and Turkish Republic of northern Cyprus has waited a lot. After 50 years of hostile embargoes Turkish side shall benefit and enjoy its own legitimate and sovereign state. No one should expect a step back.
