not really? if a zombie apocalypse like in the video were to happen (the dead literally rising from their graves), they wouldnt be able to move at all due to their tendons and muscles degrading, not to mention years of not moving would lead to them being incredibly weak. they wouldnt even have the strength to break their coffins. and even if they were to somehow get out, they would be relentlessly attacked and eaten by the wildlife. and even if they survived THAT, their flesh would be so dry that it would easily burn off from fire, which would immobilize them evern further

When I first saw this I was terrified. I remember having nightmares. I hated the possibility of a zombie outbreak and was always scared. Coming back now brings back memories and I’m now realizing I had no reason to be afraid
@DrizzyB3 жыл бұрын
I learned about zombies when I was pretty young, but I was too dumb to fear them at first. The first time I saw this, however, my fear was born. However, I was smart enough to know the coming back to life part was simply impossible. A simple Google search will prove it to you. I was just afraid of viruses that caused cannibalism. Nothing but the cannibalism aspect of zombie movies scares me, just think of a horde of cannibals chasing you, hungry for your flesh... What made it worse is that I was afraid that if a zombie apocalypse like that did happen, I might get infected and try to eat my family! But, then again, a zombie virus without cannibalism is just rabies, and rabies is something that we already have ways to deal with. Once learning that cannibalism is not a trait that things like viruses are able to inflict, I began losing my fear of zombies. I mean, cannibalism isn't something that viruses can make people do, because cannibalism is a life style choice, just like being vegan. If any viruses are able to turn people vegan, then a virus that could make people cannibals is completely possible, but it simply isn't. Things like that simply cannot and do not exist, otherwise we'd have to rethink everything we know about science and biology, yet common sense can tell you that much. Viruses are not able to rewire the human brain in such a profound way. They can only go up to the extent of primitive behaviors, such as aggression, but not cannibalism specifically. Nothing exists in real life that remotely resembles the types of zombie viruses you see in the movies, mainly because of how unrealistic they are in actuality. "28 Days Later," for example, includes the "Rage Virus," which turns whomever or whatever is infected with it into an aggressive, relentless, and incredibly fast cannibal. The only thing that exists right now that can do that is rabies, and it barely even reaches the aggression part. To an extent, the most a real life virus like that could do would be to induce aggression, but not as shown in the movie. For one, the infected will not turn as fast, that's the biggest unrealisticality in the movie. Also, viruses aren't able to give their hosts physical buffs. If a man in a wheelchair were to get infected, he wouldn't just get out and start running at you, he'd still be stuck in the chair. He'd just be infected. The rage part is also pretty unrealistic. While it's totally possible, yet incredibly unlikely, for viruses to be able to cause extreme aggression, it most likely wouldn't play out as the movie show it. Sure, they may be hostile, but not, "I'm gonna kill you!" hostile. If anything, we're already dealing with stuff like that today, just not will a virus. Take the Miami Zombie incident, for example. A guy on drugs goes sicko mode on some homeless man's face, a result of extreme aggression caused by the drugs. However, the situation was fairly easy to handle. The police just shot the man. et's say a virus that could do the same thing that the drugs did existed today, like rabies but with new aggression DLC pack. The only downside would be that viruses that endure emotional changes cannot spread that easily. We're not in a rabies pandemic because of how inefficient rabies spreading method is, which is through bites. People don't just let others bite them, do they? Anyways, back to the "28 Days Later" discussion. Most viruses in these types of movies mess with the brain in some way, so you might be wondering, "Well, could they infect the brain and turn us into cannibals by messing with it in a certain way?" The answer is still no. Cannibalism is nothing primitive to our nature, as we are omnivores. The only time we'd revert to cannibalism was when the only food left was others, but we stopped doing that in like the 1800's. However, and theoretically but highly unlikely, virus could do this to animals that sometimes naturally eat their own kind, but it would never be able to make it's way to humans. The worse a virus could do to the decision making part of the brain would be to make it dysfunctional in some wa, probably making it harder to make decisions or something. Another thing is that in the impossible, but theoretical, event that a virus that can make choices for the human brain itself existed, why would it say, "Hey, you should become a cannibal" of all things? Why not veganism? Why not an artist? Why not a yoga instructor? Why would it choose cannibalism of all things? The event of a virus like this ever existing is 100% completely impossible, but even if it were to exist, it would be incredibly unlikely that it would turn their host into a cannibal. So there you have it, folks. After years of research, I can safely and sure conclude, that a zombie virus (well, the cannibalism aspect of it, at least) is impossible. Also don't believe the dead coming back to life thing, that's even more unbelievable and impossible.

это не так выглядит на самом деле. Повеситься будет намного хуже, скорее всего тот кто повесился под инстинком самосохранения будет пытаться выбраться, но только сотрет пальцы в кровь. @@flaming.river. but like then you would die as a coward and just become a zombie while there are thousands of soldiers and hundreds of militarized vehicles so you would at least put up a fight

I remember watching this when I was like 4-5 years old. I couldn’t stop thinking about it for days. I was scared for my life because I thought this would actually happen soon. So every time I think of zombie or even see them I immediately start thinking about this. But I’m not scared of it anymore:)
