Please know many many Americans are seeing Israel and US blind support for 70 years with new eyes. I am 74, and I "grew up" believing Israel was going to be a shining light for humanitarian values. My generation grew up with fathers, brothers, uncles, and community leaders who risked their lives every day for years in WW II. We grew up understanding the horrors of the Holocaust. The US and Western nations have not shown the true history of Zionism or the displacement, expulsion, dehumanization, and murder perpetrated against Palestinians who had nothing to do with Jewish persecution or the Holocaust.
