@@neilmorgan7578 I agree with you 100%. However, growth and investment in America are seen as catalysts for social chaos and dissolution, leading to decaying infrastructure and policies designed to maintain the status quo. The government avoids real investment in infrastructure to preserve resources for the ruling elite, who prioritize their survival over societal well-being. This results in the exploitation of citizens' taxes to sustain the state apparatus, regardless of the resulting civil or global conflicts, famine, or widespread suffering. The ruling elite, driven by capitalist interests, resist reversing these policies because it threatens their power and wealth, preferring a scenario where everyone perishes but they remain the last ones standing, rather than adopting policies that promote relative equality and societal stability.

Leitenant Daniel with all due respect, there was no "bad performance by Russia" in the first year of the war. Their objective was to force a settlement early on which they almost did in Istanbul before the west told Ukraine to not go ahead with it. After that they had to organize themselves for a longer war which is what they did. By the end of 2023 Russia had already destroyed two Ukrainian armies (the original Nato prepared army and the second constituted of ex Soviet states armoured vehicles, tanks and planes).

You are absolutely right…this guy Daniel is just another typical American who thinks he is exceptional. Moldova wants to be friends with Russia - okay. No, that's not it. But you also need to understand that there are a lot of Russian-speaking people living there, and they also have their rights and relatives in Russia. In general, I believe that everyone should first of all take care of the problems of their country, and they are there. And only then to interfere in the affairs of other countries (I'm talking about the countries of Europe and the United States, and not about ordinary citizens, but about their government). As for Russia and Ukraine, they have always been related nationalities, and what is happening now is a great tragedy for the two countries, and what the United States is doing - in this case, the murder of Slavs by someone else's hands, that's all.

whenever someone tells me that Putin wants to invade Western Europe (I'm Western European), I can immediately tell they have no idea about Russian life. My two best friends are Russian and in their hometown Rostov (which is quite a huge city, may I add, with 1.1mill inhabitants), they were middle class and still had to live 3 adults and 2 teenagers on 65sqm and 2bedrooms. I don't think anyone except for the US itself (and maybe China) has the ressources to invade Western Europe.

There's another angle to looks at "Europe invasion" that makes it idiotic - Europe has nothing to offer to Russia. It squandered its natural recources decades ago, and right now exist through plunder of Global South through neocolonial occupation. Not to mention that many countries, like Poland or Bulgaria consume WAY more then they produce (which also was true during the USSR reign), so their capture would only bring financial burden on Russia. The only reason Ukraine war started is the same why Georgian one did - Nato advancement to Russian borders and fear that they will attempt to take Russian lands by force.

It is the rest of the world that needs protection from the Europeans. The rest of the world is simply attempting to make the best possible economic/social lives for their populations that they can. Anyone who has ability to think rationally knows these facts regarding Ukraine and Russia. 1.Russia has and will always be mightier than Ukraine 2.Ukraine being the lesser nation would have naturally(though begrudgingly) coalesced to Russia's demands had it not been for American interference. 3.America interfered by convincing Ukraine that "They could help them defeat Russia" 4.America only used Ukraine to help their military contractors and manufacturers make money. They also used Ukraine to help the American Military Industrial Complex to steal and launder money from the American public. 5. America knew from the beginning they were not going to bring Ukraine into NATO but they engaged in this falsehood with the full cooperation of Zelinsky who has profited handsomely from the deception/grift and all it cost him was a couple hundred thousand dead Ukranians. America's role in provoking this conflict is just a despicable but normal act for America because since America has surrendered it's soul to the Oligarchs they outsource EVERYTHING. They don't care about the "out of work" American's. They have no allegiances to American people, they only care about producing goods using the CHEAPEST labor source and charging the most money for it. America creates NOTHING except weapons of mass destruction. And they use the CIA to foment discord all around the World so they can sell weapons to both sides. Period.

British strategists devised "Operation Unthinkable," an apt name for what would have been World War III. This document is the property of His Majesty’s Government. The war with the Soviet Union was to begin on 1 July 1945. This operation began in April 1945, when the war was not over, but the outcome was clear. The possible distribution of forces in the world after the victory over Germany, already at that time did not please the United Kingdom and the USA, so the «Unthinkable» was hastily planned. So did the "allies" of Soviet Russia. The document, which is now in the UK National Archives, details all the steps of the operation. Operation Unthinkable (1945) assumed a surprise attack by up divisions forces of the "allies", the "dogface" troops in the area of Dresden, in the middle of Soviet lines. A surprise attack by 47 British and American divisions supported by 10-12 German divisions, which "allies" held as not generated in Schleswig-Holstein and in southern Denmark should support the blow, they were daily trained by the British instructors: prepared for the war against the USSR. The storming of Berlin sobered the British. The conclusion of the Chiefs of Staff of the British troops was clear: the blitzkrieg against the Russians would not work. On this was completed the development of operation «Unthinkable». Meanwhile, while planning a war against the USSR, the pragmatic allies persuade Stalin to help them with the Japanese after defeating Germany. Americans after World War II are almost masters of peace. Not the Soviet Union, which fought fascists for four years, liberated all of Europe, losing more than 27 million people on the front and civilians, a quarter of the economy, but the United States, which once again managed to use the war to their advantage. History is repeating itself... again. "Operation Unthinkable” is ongoing... HISTORIA EST MAGISTRA VITAE - history is the mentor of life (Cicero). History is not a teacher, but a overseer : she teaches nothing, but severely punishes ignorance of lessons. (O.V. Klyuchevsky, Russian historian).

This is a BS argument. NATO countries should step up and join forces with Ukraine, and push Russia back to its borders. The Nazis would have won if the alliance hadn’t joined forces in WWII, the same situation exists now. There’s no negotiated peace with sputum, he’s a liar and a thief, he won’t stop until he’s stopped.

Right is right! What part of that isn’t understood by good people??? Russia has NO PLACE in Ukraine, plain and simple. Many think Russia will not go on into Western Europe. Ask Poles, Finns, Lithuanians, and many more what THEY think Russia will do next. Don’t sit here safely in the US and pontificate on what Russia will do. Negotiate? Ukraine already negotiated away their nuclear weapons to Russia in exchange for being left alone. See how well appeasement works with the Evil Empire? Ukraine has a long, suffering history with Russia so don’t pretend to know what is best for Ukraine. There was a time when’s Americans stood for what is right but there are enough Russian infiltrations and infiltrators to make people believe otherwise. Don’t side with Vladimir Putin the Impaler.

Many of us Irish are against Nato aggression and expansion. Russia is a Christian country, it despises Islamic fundamentalism and is cultured. Russia is not an enemy.

Remember Ireland has been condemned as a degenerate apostate state because it cooperated with the UN in condemning Putin's Special Military Operation as a war crime by the one true Orthodox Christian religion, which has blessed Putin's noble Special Military Operation.

Indeed not. It was Russia that helped liberate Europe by defeating Germany in WW2. Russia were our Allies as much as the US.

As a Christian country Russia's laying waste to Ukraine had the same right as Britain laying wase to Ireland, except Putin is allied with Iran.

Right, Rus' soldiers do NOT want to be there, are surrendering in droves, not being paid. Drones and f-16's will ultimately destroy Russia's oil production, and that is key to everything. Crimea has fast internal sabotage going on, Putin is mute to the truth, the people are turning on him.
