Huawei is generally considered to have the best autonomous driving tech of all the Chinese companies, even compared to strong entries from Xpeng and Nio, so it may well be comparable to Tesla FSD.

​@@JB-xm8qi Wow, Lamborghini.... Maybe not in the same class, too expensive for me. Ultra-luxury brands I prefer Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley. Lamborghini is too sharp and flamboyant for me, I prefer sleek and elegant designs, (but it's all limited to liking, I won't buy unless I become super rich in the future) my upper limit is Maserati levante or Cayenne. I live in China so Avatr is a much cheaper and cost effective option for me. btw I'm a visual designer so I really care about unique exterior design!

Great video as usual, I have been following your channel since the earlier days with just a few thousands of subscribers. Its amazing to see your channel has grown so much in a such short time. Would like to see more regular videos that does not need to be review of sort. I know that make great reviews takes substantial amount of time, but you can mix it up by doing drag races, comparison videos, auto shows. Something like what Matt Watson is doing to increase the frequency and variaty of new contents to take advantage of increased interest from aboard about Chinese cars.

Thank you for your support over the years, and for the constructive and well-thought out comment. The only problem with the specific content you suggested is that they each take way more time/effort to film than a traditional review. Drag races require a specialized location, which is expensive, and multiple cars. Hard to get one car at a time, let alone two, three, or four. Car Wow can do it because they’re massive and have the budget. This second problem also applies to comparison videos. Getting two cars at once, then doing double the filming, is a major undertaking, which is why we’ve only done it a few times. As for auto shows, there’s only a few major shows a year in China, but not all of them have interesting debuts, and all but the Shanghai show would require us to pay for travel and lodging. But we will likely go to Guangzhou show this year at the very least. Your suggestion about diversifying content is well-taken, and I want you to know that we’re thinking about that as well just need to make sure we do it in a way that won’t impact the quality of our content (or make us go broke😅)

Let's be clear, the material and build quality of the Bentayga is far far above this much cheaper Avatr. But it is also true that VAG, the largest carmaker in the world, owner of Bentley, Audi, Lambo etc, doesn't have any kind of autonomous driving software that can come anywhere close to Huawei's tech. And also VAG infotainment system is also mostly a joke (ID.4 owner here, I would know!), compared to the HarmonyOS in the Avatr which is also made by Huawei, a major smartphone maker who knows a thing or two about software.

I recently took a test drive in a Solterra with a digital rear view mirror and found it very difficult to use with the varifocal glasses that I use. You need to tip your head up to get the correct focus on the mirror. I think this would be a deal-breaker. Just warning anyone else out there as this type of system becomes more common ( Polestar 4 for example).

Chinese EVs have no chill!❤‍🔥 It's like every two weeks they come up with something better. if I were in China, I wouldn't be able to choose buy and say there's something better will arrive soon.😄😄 So it looks like Huawei is the real Chinese Tesla, they know software and they opt out of trendy features like air suspension when it is not worth the cost. Too bad for CEO of Nio saying something like lidar isn't the best for car autonomy.😅😅

So this will be the Luxury EV sub brand of ChangAn ? I've seen it listed as AVITA 11 (AVATR is more atractive though) as this will probably be the name for export . Optimistic ranges indeed as the numbers i have seen say 500 (90.4 kWh) & 630 (116.8 kWh) but the export version will likely not come with the single motor option ... And again no physical buttons whatsoever ? Electric doors : hope there's a back-up or manual override system !

Changan is not officially Arlington this car abroad yet, so the only way to get it would be through an export company that will buy one and resell it to you. That company would also have to translate the operating system for you.

Don't worry, the vast majority of new Chinese cars now provide Chinese and English operating systems, and you can switch languages by yourself in the car. Even if some systems do not support English temporarily, the English system will be obtained through OTA upgrade

Question I bought a Geely Azkarra 4wd mildhybrid I'm in Panamá, finding information on these chinesse vehicles is hard (like wiring diagram, sound system cable's colors, how to disassemble something like the door panel) is there a way to find these easier? Google and KZbin are not a very good sources( I have tried with English to traditional Chinese and is better but not precise)...

There're lot of Chinese cars in Philippine market, the some great reviewers reviewed many Chinese car brands, such as Chang'an, Geely, Cherry, GAC etc. (Most importantly, they made in English)

wait a second... why is the 5 seat version more practical? in a time when most families in the east and the west ( especially the more upscale demographic this is catering to) have one or two kids or non... so why would a 5 seat car be more practical, especially when in most cars its rather 4.5 seat, cos in the back 3 "kids" ( no child seats needed anymore) do fit, but for 3 grown up men its rather tight... so in my mind having a realistically 0.5 seat extra is a waste.. the 4 seat version is the logical one in my book.
