The phobia is for real life sharks. I know many arachnophobes who still play games that have spiders in them, the same for people with whatever the fear of snakes is called. The phobia's not as bad when you're in a virtual world where you have a powerful weapon to kill the thing you're scared of. It's excellent phobia therapy.

The next priority after getting a grill, water purifier, and making a cup, is to make a fishing pole and fish for fish. Alternatively, if you get lucky to find an island with trees on it that have fruit or watermelons or pineapples, you can eat those but they won't fill up the food bar as much as cooked food. You cannot cook the fruit until you get much further into the game and get a smoothie maker. You can cook beets, potatoes, and fish. And also the shark if you're able to kill it

Okay so fun fact number one: the island will despawn once the raft gets beyond a certain distance away from it. This is to help reduce game lag.

A priority that you have to manage is not only getting resources right away, but the first thing you have to build is a water purifier and a grill. The next thing to craft would be a couple of cups. Specifically two cups because one can be used to refill the water purifier and the other one can be used to hold purified water so you can drink it and not die.

True Story: I just now started playing Trials of Mana, and my character is Hawkeye. Shortly after starting, I was like: "Huh... this guy sounds familiar." Then I started fighting, and the inflection in his battle shouts made me realize: "It's Cy Yu!!!" All I can hear when this guy shouts is "ONE'S A FUCKING FISH!!!!"
