Honestly just wondering, then... You're okay with the fact that Dori has taken advantage of pretty much everyone we have met in Sumeru at some point or another? Including the Traveler multiple times (not by choice, but because we were forced)? Not to mention that Dori commissioned Kaveh, so she should be paying him not him paying her. After all how commissions of any type happen - art, building, programming, etc. - is the commissioner pays the person they're commissioning from. Yes, Kaveh has his own demons, we know that - as Writing on the Wall so aptly describes, as did the Interdarshan event and Kaveh's hangout. And we know about Dori's story about not having enough money to help her sister. That, however, doesn't excuse Dori's taking advantage of everyone around her. She wanted to make sure that no one of her family suffered because of mora again at the end of her Vision story, but she has more than enough money now and she could legit stop doing what she's doing and be okay. At this point she's just taking people's money to take it.
