i have one 457 mtr 22lr , i shoot around 5000 rounds since my license A/D , and tomorrow i go shooting and will try to put my trigger a litle soft , he needs some work ... a litle heavy , i will not put the yoDave spring , but i will only put more soft , with 7 mm tool , the 2 mm allen anty clokwise and the rest stays , for not mess with the trigger , than i see ! mine likes a lot rws rifle match professional line , than elley club and standard , thank's for the video . stay safe and protectyour self ! 🇵🇹 🇵🇹 ✴ 💯

Great Video! I got my 457 LRP a few weeks ago and had the same issue with the rings, but you can adjust the cheekriser preety high, so it doesn't bother me that much. Some day I'll go for smaller ones :)

Thanks for the comment. In the past I never used or really liked adjustable Cheek rest or Length of pull adjustments. This rifle changed my mind about both. It is nice for sure.

What was the distance you shot those two targets at? My CZ has a crap trigger, but shoots the SK standard plus at 40 meters tighter than the superior SK red box did out of your CZ, could have been the conditions, however, although you were not happy with your trigger, it’s superior to what mine was able to adjust down to.

I went to my local Ace hardware store and bought a spring for around a dollar that lightened my trigger pull on my cz455. I wouldn't hesitate on buying the yodave spring kit, I have seen a lot of great reviews on his kit. I hope you get the trigger where you want it.

Hi, man! Same issue than you. I spent more than 1 hour and I could hardly decrease trigger pull from 3 lb and 5 oz to 3 lb and 1 oz. Obviously extremely high pressure to get a minimum accuracy. Unfortunately I watched CZ's video before yours! Thank you for your great vids.

For trigger weight I believe it is a stretch saying it is adjustable.

I adjusted the pre traveled to nothing first then over travel until it would not cock then backed it out a quarter turn. After that I played with the poundage a quarter turn at a time both directions. Was able to get 1 1/2# with no pre travel or over travel.

Get the Yo dave trigger kit and install one of the 4 or 5 springs cost about $12.00 Installed it on a CZ455 and it is down to 8-10oz. . trigger pull 👍🏻

I put the Yo Dave in. I went to 9.5 oz on the trigger pull. The Yo dave started out at 15 oz. Compressing the spring a couple times with the adjustment screw ( and a drop of gun oil) got it down to 9.5 oz.

A simple trigger spring change is all that's needed. Mine is crisp and 1# 4oz. I could have gone lower ( to about 12 oz) but am happy there. Best $5 you can spend on these rifles.

Found the absolute identical problem with my 457 and ended up in the same boat. Guessing a new trigger spring is what I will have to do....... again, not what I expected. I did measure mine before any adjustment and it was at 3.0 lbs. Came out also at 2lb 14 oz.

Agreed, Trigger pull weight adjustment, useless. I am happy about the pre-travel and trigger travel after firing adjustments. So the trigger weight was done by installing the Yo-Dave spring. - Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Hello Sir, I've been enjoying your videos. If you would like reassurance on the trigger spring, I can tell you that if you go with something like the YoDave trigger spring, you'll be at a 1 pound pull weight or a little less. I couldn't get my stock 457 trigger below 2 pounds 9 ounces before changing the spring. Safe and happy shooting!

Hi Red, my 457 had the same result. My best was 2.9 pounds after the rifle was back together, my bench test went back to 3.10 pounds..I'll be anxious to install the new Yo Dave trigger kit

Hi... I'm new to this 22LR competition shooting and thought instead of buying the CZ457 as everyone has. that I would see how cheap I could go and still be somewhat competitive. So I'm starting off with a savage a22 that came from the factory with a bull barrel and a Boyd thumbhole stock that was 375 dollars at Wal-Mart. I'm also using $4.59 boxes of CCI target ammo, and have a Monstrum 6x24x50mm scope. I shot an ARA target this weekend and shot around 2200, what are some good ammo I could try?

Those groups are pretty good but i think the tikka shoots that same ammo a little tighter....the Gun Viking channel has done some extensive testing with the tikka and many different cartridges

You must follow the three steps in order. After you adjusr B and C then measure 5he pull. It will be quite a bit lighter than just playing with the sear or A adjustment.

I just got my 457 Varmint. 2 lbs 11 oz to 2 lbs 14 oz. It's not the spectacular out of the box trigger I have read about. Yes, you can adjust pre travel and over travel, but pull weight adjustment screw does very little. I'm disappointed. The Yo Dave is on order. If this gun groups decent, I'll likely get the Timney

Jeff M, Great plan. I 100% agree the “trigger weight adjustment” on the CZ457’s is useless. I have had an opportunity to adjust 3 457’s and all really no change on trigger pull weight. I was very pleased with the Yo Dave spring and getting the pull weight down. I think trigger pull was just over 1lbs. My CZ457 AT-ONE for some reason never had a great trigger feel and I ended up installing the Timney trigger and not it is a dream, 100 perfect. I have a 457 VPT that has the stock trigger with the Yo Dave spring and it is actually very nice and I have not decided if I am going to install a Timney trigger yet. I have already bought the trigger but have not installed it. So we’ll see… Let us know how it goes,

@@AimSmallMissSmall_TV I was hoping to get in the 12 - 14 oz range. I saw another you tuber install the yo Dave and get 9 oz. But he had the VPT MTR. So , I’ll try Yo Dave, but if I can’t get under a pound , mo money mo money. I see you have a Tikka. I have a Sako P94s that takes the same yo Dave spring as the T1X. I got that spring coming too .. although the Sako is already pretty remarkable currently at 14 oz . Again thanks for posting this .

well, good point. I did not but with that said the rifle shoot without issues for at least 1000 round then started giving me issues like during the install. Timney sent me a a new sear spring to install. I have not installed the spring yet but hopefully will tomorrow and I'll do a video as well.

I think sometimes when recording and trying to do other stuff I am not good at I lose my mind and can't remember the names of simple things but I am working on that.
