Thanks for watching. Ended up doing the same mods myself. Aluminum trigger is sweet! The fiber optic makes a huge difference for me! Having a hard time deciding what grips to put on but the stock ones are way too slippery! Thinking thin aluminum with grip tape, or VZ Grips and cut them to fit!

Great video, thanks. I ordered on in .40 s&w, had it sent to CZ Custom shop for upgrades. It's been there almost a month, hopefully I'll get it soon.... Adding a fiber optic front sight, aluminum trigger, ss guide rod. What type of grips are you going to switch to, I have medium sized hands also. Thanks, Ed.

First time I got my hands on the 9mm TS, I accidentally double tapped because I wasn't prepared for that amazing trigger. I'm about to register one of my own in the next few days :D
@abyss12326 жыл бұрын
Guilty as charged. I did same thing. In 9mm the TS is a double tap machine! Trigger is crazy light from factory! In 40 S&W it's still very manageable and even better with reloads.

There is the cz 75 Tactical Sport Orange that is coming in December I think, has smaller grips, comes with fiber optic front, adjustable rear sight, thumb rest and i'm not sure if aluminum trigger and steel guide rod but those 2 are the easiest to replace. Could get it in .40 and with the thumb rest already drilled and fitted from factory that would be easy to control, probably easier than a 9mm without a thumb rest.

+abyss1232 In another country, Guatemala. I know it sucks, guns here are insane, Glock 17 will go for around $2,000 and Glock 34/35 for around $2,800. And the CZ TS is four times the gun the G34/35, so the Orange would prob run around that price might as well get the CZ over the 34/35. Ammo is expensive too, that's why I laugh when I see some people complaining on the comments how expensive a $500+ gun is, you guys are lucky as hell! For what I've spent in Glocks and mods I could have a whole room full of rifles, shotguns, several handguns , more Glocks etc... hahaha. Let me know if you get your hands on the TS ORANGE so I can watch your review before I drop a little short of 3k haha! good videos man!

Will the .40 s&w barrel fit the 9mm slide? I'm curious if there is a possibilty to shoot .40 using the 9mm slide. Thank you for your video.
@abyss12329 жыл бұрын
Buy the 40 S&W version and convert it to 9 mm. You will need 9 mm barrel, 9 mm mags, and appropriate recoil spring. Not the other way around. The 40 S&W barrel will PHYSICALLY fit in the 9 mm slide. BUT the cartridges will NOT load due to the breechface! So it will NOT work. Hope that helps. Thanks for the question.
@sackboymahalo9 жыл бұрын
abyss1232 I'll be getting the 9mm version in about 2 days (after the 10 day waiting period). I'll be saving for the complete .40 upper if I decide to shoot that caliber. I watched your other videos about the TS and probably do the upgrades too. Thank you for your help!!!

Is the fiber optic front sight you're going to replace a complete drop in or require modifications? Where did you purchase from
@abyss12326 жыл бұрын
Some sights need to be cut and fit and others already have the cut in them and slide right in. Depends on where you get yours from. If you order from CZ Custom you'll have to put the cut in it yourself. Refer to my sight install video and also check the comments. It might answer some questions. From my understanding, Dawson precision sights already have the cut in them and are easy to install. Others sights I'm not really sure about.

I'm thinking about getting this CZ Tactical Sport. Do you know if the frame on this pistol is Cast or Steel ? Also, Is the barrel rifling Polygonal or Land and Grove ? :>)
@abyss12329 жыл бұрын
Almost sure the frame is cast steel and the slide is machined out of forged steel. The barrels are traditional land and Grove.

Hey abyss, I just got one in 9mm and the barrel is black. Yours has a stainless steel colored on any idea why?
@abyss12327 жыл бұрын
Cody Cronk I've seen the black ones as well. If it's a newer TS the barrels are shared from the TS Orange which are also black. They just fit them to the slide and send it off. The black is a protective coating anyway so nothing to worry about. Shoot and enjoy.

hi there, im wondering, the 9mm mags are the same when you change the all slide to .40?, do u use the same mags? regards
@abyss12329 жыл бұрын
When I switch my slide to the 40 S&W I use the proper 40 S&W mags. I had a couple failure to feeds when I used them interchangeably so I just use them as recommended. They actually are slightly different side by side in form and followers seems different also.

Is there a weawer mounting system for CZ 75 TS?

What are you Looking to mount?
@TractorWrangler016 жыл бұрын
Ok.. You guys are gunna trash me for this but here goes anyway. LOL First off..the trigger is awesome no doubt anyone that wants to argue that one is probably not worth listening to.. Yet muzzle rise is not as good as it could be because the beaver tail is too low and too long. You cant get your hand quite high enough to get properly behind the barrel and that causes unnecessary barrel rise not extreme rise just unnecessary rise. You better have some dam big hands too because to thumb down the hammer with your shooting hand takes some gymnastics. Also the slide release is just out of reach and requires either using 2 hands or rollin the pistol in your hand to reach it and breaking your rhythm and sight picture. And its WAY too stiff. The slide release spring just has to be changed. That spring is way too agressive and takes too much focus to operate smoothly. The front site is just like he said...hard to see... The accuracy is fantastic. They may vary, I don't know but saying it's a "tack driver" is not far off. Now all that being said you can turn tis into a dam good shooter with an additional few bucks invested. If you can do the work yourself you are going to find this to be a fabulous piece. If you have to pay a gunsmith you may not have the same opinion on the investment. The trigger and the barrel are really the only out of the box ready parts for serious competition shooters. The newer CZ 75 "Orange" is closer to what you will need straight out of the box. But if you do your own work...this is the one for you. Ok now you can trash my opinions. LOL
@abyss12325 жыл бұрын
These are all valid points and the new Orange addresses these issues. The slide release just takes some time to wear in. Some will like the "issues" you list but like I said you make all valid points and mostly agree.

abyss1232 A nightmare for me for 7-8 years. I love this gun and don't want to sell it, but it's unreliable. Tried different bullet shapes and weight, nothing helps. Now will order metal rod and and spring set from Cajun.

heinzinthesky 1. Grips will leave owner with much to be desired 2. Front sight lacks and you should probably just buy new sight from the get go. 3. Unless you just want a 9mm blaster or shoot minor, buy the 40 S&W version and you can convert down to the 9mm later with just a barrel swap and mags.

how do you like that trigger? I looked at an SP-01 over the weekend and it had quite a bit of creep (about just as much as my 75D PCR). I assume that this is a different story on a SAO pistol, but I'm curious of your thoughts.
@abyss12326 жыл бұрын
jeffreysbrother TS triggers are in a different league as compared to a standard 75 series. A good trigger job will take care of a stock 75 though and make it seem like a different handgun. As for the TS models, I'm not a fan of the plastic trigger so I swapped mine out for an aluminum one.
