CZ P-01 CGW firing pin

I was getting light primer strikes from a used P-01 I bought with aftermarket CZ custom springs. Happy to report after install I have had ZERO malfunctions

I enjoyed this video. Your occasional struggles demonstrate what is likely to happen to someone who is new at this. After doing total tear downs of a Glock 19, Sig p226 and a 1911, I decided to convert my SP-01 from a double action/single action with a safety to a single action only with a safety. I did a total strip down of my SP-01 and put it back together using Cajun Gun Works parts. Putting it back together was one of those experiences that i can say I am glad I did it but had no desire to do it again. With my new P-01 I only plan to do what you just did. Thanks for your video.

Its alot easier to get the firing retainer pin back in with the slide installed back on the frame, hammer down holding firing pin in position.

I just installed SRS-2 on my SP-01. I can concur that putting that lip back under the hammer spring is the trickiest. I found that a simpler solution is to release the other pin on top so I can hook the lip to the bottom first. I kind of wished I bought the Reach Reduction package and the hammer as well. Now I will have to redo that part in order to install the hammer and the liftarm.
