I wonder if cider brewing will be a thing down the line. Did you allocate a beast of burden to the farm yet? With the new expansion it has a flavour of the original Settlers... deplete mining, move on to new settlement, expand more, deplete and move onwards. Graphics are probably a touch better though... ahem...

Honestly I'd really like it if the resources didn't deplete. IRL it would probably take much longer to deplete resources, but then again I haven't done any research about that.
