Hi Zuzka, on second slide everything makes sense, except for Volam / Pisu / Pomaham kamaradovi. How is this (kamerad) an indirect object, when we have subject (me) and object (kamerad). Is it really an indirect object or are there just a list of verb exceptions that automatically trigger this case and you need to study these verbs by heart? Thank you :)
@CzechbyZuzka2 жыл бұрын
We have certain verbs that need direct object (acusative) and indirect object (dative). You can say: Píšu _email_ (direct object), but: Píšu kamarádovi (email). - I write (an email) _to_ my friend.

@@CzechbyZuzka Thanks, do you have a patron account, because I feel bad asking you so many questions. And I will be spending considerable time watching your videos. Thank you Zuzka.

@@blahdiblah2169 That's ok, I am happy you are interested in Czech grammar! I don't have a patron account yet, I might consider setting it up in the future. I don't know what your level is but you might want to have a look at my two video courses I offer. You can find the links in my pinned comment in many of my videos.

@@CzechbyZuzka Honestly, the case lessons now are good enough, but I feel kind of bad just using them for free. I know they took you a lot of time and I want to support your effort. Do you do private lessons over WhatsApp, Skype or Microsoft teams ever?

One little question....you are showing exemples without the change of the ending...is that right...you are talking only about prepositions

im sorry but i dont understand something. why is maminka changes to mamince? dosent it supposed to be maminke?
@CzechbyZuzka Жыл бұрын
This is how feminine nouns ending in -ka change in the dative/locative case. Maminka - mamince Babička - babičce Kočka - kočce Zahrádka - zahrádce Since the locative and dative forms are very similar, I already covered that in the previous video about locative. Please watch it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHe3k52GeM6Bhdk
