steve gant in czech republic is litle harder get gun licence then in USA but is posible when you dont have criminal past and studying a bit but civilian cant own (theres some expectations) automatic weapon so you can get cz 805 (for now hard to tell what EU comisint "think" up next) because ther is semi-automatic wersion but in case cz 806 the semi automatic wersion is not aviable yet (but thats depend only on manufacturer) other thing is prize the cz 805 is prize around 45 000 kč with normal payout 28 406 Kč to 39 173 Kč (depend on district) its litle too much for "just for fun gun" bat if you say "i jut wan bren" you can get it (but most people prefer to buy older sa 58/cz 858 for something arond 10 000 Kč)

Interestingly, in the same morning, I was given a task by my uncle to memorize the spellings of Czechoslovakia... It was in the evening, when we heard/saw the news on TV about Czechoslovakia splitting up into Czech Republic & Republic of Slovakia.. I was very much disappointed for the hardship of that day, hence decided to go on with "Czechoslovakia' 😂😂 & interestingly, I only use this name for Czech Republic, because of initials 😂😂

Bolt release is in the handguard so right where your "GO" finger can easily hit it.

Old as comments but oh well. Having watched as many videos as I could find on this gun I think the Bolt release does double as a bolt stop. It has two bolt releases, a ping pong paddle just like the AR on the side which functions just like an AR15 and one in the trigger gaurd which looks like it performs both functions.

No, it's non-reciprocating on the new BREN.

Thanks for info guys. Finally they fixed that letdown feature (at least for me letdown) Yeah, decisions, decisions :-). I'm in the same boat myself. Upgrading vz.58 and L1A1 FN FAL at the same time ... :-) Anyway, in my eyes, they should've continue in vz58 development - just like the Russians did with the AK family. The simplicity of vz58 is legendary. And for me simple == less things for Mr. Murphy to mess with == good thing...

It should be 807 for pakistan. If I am not mistaken, only difference is in caliber. 806 is standard nato 5.56, 807 is 7.62 (used by pakistan army in their current rifles). Maybe an ability to change calibers (not sure if 805/806 has it)

Jakub Bláha your able to change calibers just by having the Bren 2 model. It’s multicaliber approved. Just unheard of. Pretty much a lifetime rifle and reliable. Just means tons of range fun in the USA lol

Pakistan Army is going to put their hands on this brilliant rifle .. A MoU has been signed by Pakistani and Czech Government in which ToT will be done and Pakistan will make this rifle locally with the help of Czech Experts

You Are not right bro, Pakistan producing nearly half of all plastic for USA mainly, especially in army engineering, even if medical suppliement or any parts around vehicles etc.. Contact customer service and they were in no mood the help at all I then replied should I use just cz mags? Next day I get an email saying I'm blocked from servers... I've loved cz products the reason I bought a bren 2 but this customer service and spare parts support needs to change.. I understand you have military contracts but so does hk circle 10 etc.. please pick up support for this rifle
