Thank you. this explains very clearly, what the prisoners dilemma is in Game theory. It also shows that it is relatively important to know about the different game theories on decision making because several (like the P's theory) are too artificial and way too theoretical. It is obvious that trust and testing trust will occur in the real political human world and that heavy repercussions at scale would happen in case of betrayal. So this actually is NOT why deals on sustainability aren't signed but quite the contrary: It is because entities know they actually can get more by not signing them over a period of time without repercussions. tank you nonetheless and i look forward to view the others.

This is not right. For prisoner1 who stands on the imaginary y-axis, his view of the world is vertical. in other words, prisoner 1 looks to the pay-off matrix vertically. And prisoner 2 who stands on the imaginary x-axis view the world horizontally.
