A lot of those DLo shots were bad shots in the regular season too, they just went in. You can’t afford that much variance in the playoffs where possessions are at a premium. That’s one of the main differences between these two teams. Plenty of blame to go around, but they need to make sure they are getting him GOOD shots. When you are losing by a handful of possessions, you have got to value the ones you are throwing away.

Agree with everything you said except the AD stuff. I think he HAS to have a huge series. And the biggest reason for me is the matchup. Nuggets have good defenders at both guard and forward in AG and KCP. Jokic is not a good defender and if Nuggets are mostly going to let him go 1 on 1, you gotta take that. Don’t get me wrong I agree on DLo. But AD needs to have a huge series if they’re going to let him go 1 on 1. If he can get Jokic in foul trouble 1 or 2 games that would be huge too

@@carter5377he’s not known for his defense at all. He’s slow and cumbersome. That is why AD attacks him and has success. AD typically has success offensively playing this team. When he doesn’t it’s because they stop scheming to give him the ball so everyone else can get going. It’s exactly how games 1 and 2 went last post season. I’ll bet it’ll be the same in game 2 this time and then the narrative that AD’s inconsistent will come up again.

He doesn’t move well defensively and he can’t jump lol he gets off on the defensive scheme they run but 1 on 1 he’s just an average defender. And AD being one of your top guys has to take advantage of that offensively or they’re dead dead

Jokic is a good Defender. He avoids fouling. He attacks the ball before it's brought up. He's a good Defender. He's not a typical athletic defender. But he reads defenses, he has active hands and excellent rebounder. "He's not a good Defender" is an old incorrect taking point.

@@Trtrucking79 what you are saying is true but doesn't tell the full story, I would like to see how game 2 unfolds, because in game 1 we saw LeBron go 3 for 3 from 3pt and in the 3 quarter he starts clanking em and then he started passing more to dlo and rui. If LeBron is 40 as you said, how about he stops having the ball in his hands more, why can't dlo be the p.ball handler sometimes, LeBron having the ball too much in his hands can disrupt dlo's or even reaves rhythm at times. Dlo has played his best basketball for the Lakers this season when Bron wasn't in the lineup or when he had the ball less.

Mannn!! I was soo disappointed with his game 🫣😤.. That one lazy pass he did to RUI and Bron got really pissed, it was same time that momentum shifted. You could’ve spared all of us of this horrible take. I genuinely didn’t understand the AD critiques when he was the main guy hustling and showing heart. Nuggets live with him scoring because he’s great and you don’t typically exert all your energy trying to stop elite players unless you absolutely have to. Mike Malone has an easy job. Ham keeps starting the weakest links on the team Dlo and Austin so the Nuggets keep winning and don’t have to deal with AD because the Lakers are giving them an easy out by playing Dlo who repeatedly keeps folding. At this point the Lakers are beating themselves. Dlo will disappoint you. He’s only ever proven that he’s weak mentally when it counts the most. All they did in the regular season was empower a weak minded bum and that was a mistake.
