OK! I was never a MASSIVE fan of Smashing Pumpkins, I bought 'Adore' which I thought was a phenomenal album but are you saying D'arcy has passed away? :O

I recently saw Pumpkins live in Rotterdam. It was great but D'arcy will always be sorely missed.

Still hate that she was left out of the reunion and latest album. Early Pumpkins was my jam, but without her it seems like the band is just Diet Nine Inch Nails. HUGE mistake leaving her out IMO, but Corgans ego seems like a double edged sword. It drove the bands success but to the degree that it hurt those around him which severely hurt the heart of the music.

Her not being there has nothing to do with the change in sound. Billy is the boss. It’s his band and he pretty much does everything but the drums. Jimmy is the only one who’s departure might have an effect on the music. Don’t get me wrong, she is a more than competent musician and I have nothing but respect for her she just didn’t have a huge amount to do with the early pumpkin’s sound.

All these people in the comments think she’s dead. 😭😭😭 wtf? I was like, she’s not dead… is she? I had to google it. 😂 SHE IS NOT DEAD, PEOPLE!!!

Her music career seems to be dead.
@mysticofmaddness9180Ай бұрын
@@SWog617 how is that the same as being dead? Especially considering her music career has more of a portfolio than anyone the majority of the population will ever meet irl. She had more time in the spotlight than 99.9% of the people out here. Everyone’s career dies at some point. Unless you’re mick jagger out there looking like a performing corpse because you refuse to give up the ghost. I say she should be proud to have ever performed at a sold out show.

Yeah there were a lot of him chick base players back then , Darcy , mellisa Of dumar, Kim Gordon , Krysten from hole and few others. I think they can feel the base vibrations in their muff and get off on it and have deeper connection with the instrument than most men do.
