This group was the core Kami Band. Tragic that Mikio (the guitarist on the left) died. He brought a jazzy soulfulness that was a perfect counterpoint to Takayoshi's more metal shredding.

Ohmura (playing Pink Chan) sings. Actually pretty well. He has a fair few albums of his own. If I'm right (people will no doubt tell you and me if I'm wrong) this was originally going to be Mischiefs Of The Metal Gods 2 but after Mikio's untimely death they named it for him "Hill of Wisteria" and played it at the memorial concert for him.

The name of this song is called "Hill of Wisteria". This is Takayoshi Ohmura's band and TO usually has different guest musicians and vocalists play. But, Mikio, BOH, and original Kami drummer Yuya Maeta have their own band called the Kari Band. Kari meaning provisional or interim. There is a major possibility that the Japanese Kamis will NOT be on the 2020 UK tour. How would you feel about that?

It's all good the way I look at it. The Western Kamis killed it too. But if the OG Kamis can't go because they are busy with their own bands thats ok. Is it unfortunate? Yea a little but I still support them and any Kami that wants to rock out with the girls. Babymetal has handled this situation fairly well I believe. They found very skilled and talented musicians to perform with them. Would I perfer the japanese Kamis? Of course but I will take whatever Babymetal gives us because I know they will still melt off our faces with every performance

Yup, the Kami band, a bunch of individual hasbeens, had bands, wrote and performed hits but their careers didn't really take off until they were hired by Babymetal.

Wouldn't have called hasbeens but it's true that some people forget, especially the reactors who don't fully (yet) appreciate the girls and their work ethics & talent, that the kamis have gotten a lot of recognition and exposure thanks to BABYMETAL and these girls. They've played crowds they'd never seen before, they got to perform on the biggest stages in the world thanks to BABYMETAL. That's why I hate it when they cherrypick when reacting to some songs saying the musicians should get more props because they're amazing. We're fully aware that they're amazing as fans. But without BABYMETAL, they'd never have been this big with such a massive following. And I'm sure they themselves are aware of it and are forever thankful to have had this massive chance to play in front of 60k crowds.

Unfortunately some of their fanbase are just pervs who like looking at little girls. But to call the musicians in the band "Has Beens".. Really? They are working on other projects at the same time. Steady Employed. Some of the guys even have Custom Guitars in their name being sold or have sponsorships from companies. Takayoshi Ohmura, Boh, Hideki Aoyama , Leda Cygnus , and the Late Mikio Fujioka ?? Those guys, not to mention others add something to the whole show. Their showmanship, style, energy help make it was it has become. Heck.. when they used the American band hiding under the mask recently.. you can tell something was different. But I don't really need to explain things to you. You're just FanBoy. I'll let you get back to your Hentai. LOL
