Condolences about your Grandfather. Cool that you made a build dedicated to him. This is a cool build, I do wonder if the fey will get one shot with being so much lower than the monsters you'll face, but the damage output is decent even with just axes, and if nothing else the fey will soak up some damage!

@@DndUnoptimized yeah, the fey summons are a bit squishy. 30 HP at character levels 10-14 might last a hit or two, and by level 17 they’re only at 40 or 50 HP. Still, that’s damage your party isn’t taking, and they should still get off a little damage.

Just a thought: I’m pretty sure the casting rules now prohibit multiple spells being cast with *spell slots* to once per turn. I’ve watched a few videos from Treantmonk and a couple other creators and from what I gather if you use free economy spells from classes, subclasses or feats you might be able to cast them along side a level spell that you cast with a spell slot. But I’m still looking for more sources to confirm this.

@@joshuawilliams8310 from what I’ve seen from the same sources this is indeed the case. But we would need a way to cast a spell with a bonus action, since action surge in the 2024 rules can’t be used to cast spells. So spell action surge spell is out from both ends. However, if metamagic adept is still in the 2024 PHB, we could cast Summon Fey at level 3 without spending a spell slot, then quicken another casting of it with a spell slot.

@@zSavageWolves Ah. I know that someone at WotC is probably trying to be straight forward, but it seems like the rules around spells and casting were explained in the most confusing way. I watched a decent number of the Jeremy Crawford videos, and I they've tried to change a lot of things with intent, but a lot of the wording still alludes me.
