Great video. As sad as it is, I was so glad it didn't have a happy ending. It is Barovia there are no happy endings.

What a tale, and what a video. Ravenloft is so cool. My first contact with D&D was playing Curse of Strahd when Covid first hit. Took us almost a year exactly to finish and that was so much god damn fun. Now I'm playing D&D 3.5e and my Cleric has both the Lightbringer ACF as well as the Knight of the Raven prestige class, both from Expedition to Castle Ravenloft, basically canonizing some Ravenloft lore into the setting. I dread sending this video to our DM, lest he introduce the Dark Powers into the campaign.

A heartwarming - or heart-chilling, rather - tale, well told!

Excellent content, felt like got wrapped myself by the thick tendrils of Ravenloft mists. The ending part of the Ravenloft-flavored self-advertisement was a masterpiece. Well done, Scholar!

I seem to recall some of the stuff with the House of Lament and Ezra suggesting that some souls can find peace in Ravenloft.

@clintlafferty8023 While i was editing, I literally said to myself outloud... why does the old guy that I went out of my way to research "eastern european medieval names" sound like he is a recuiter for the Alabama football team??!! I honestly have no good answer, i was in the moment and that is where my accent drifted! >

I’ve deleted Pat ryaon because they tried to charge me on both my cards and somehow even on my p pal. For things that I never agreed to. So I’m asking this here. Are you going to be covering the updates to dragons from the new monster manual? I’m still a fan of dragons being less defined by “colour” and more defined by their environment, magic, and other influences BUT it seems that they’ve finally given more personality and trait reflective abilities and spells. I’m waiting to see what the black dragons have become…

Sorry to hear about the Patreon issue! As for the new dragons, I totally agree-shifting focus to their environment and magic makes them way more interesting. I’m excited to see how black dragons have changed too!
