Bigby Presents: Glory of the Giants is the newest bestiary for 5e D&D, and ironically, it's a slim one. It features a range of massive creatures, including giants, variations of giants, and other BIG creatures. The book introduces a few new design concepts for 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons, inviting scrutiny on whether these additions enhance or detract from the game.
As D&D approaches its 50th anniversary, works like this raise the question of whether the designers are elevating the game's quality or contributing to an overly-commercialized style and wonky rules and lore.
