Loved it Funny story how my first pc was a dragonborn paladin that was always on the verge of lawful good and chaotic good And then one day the party and him walked along the river in search for the next puzzle to a grand quest for a lost mage He saw a troll by the river Tried aproaching him with a Hello there good fellow The troll punched him Roll initiative After a lot of struggle and almost every round my paladin would just miss with his attacks I flipped when i got the chance to deal the finishing blow And i described to my dm that i punched the troll in the gut, jumped on him and bit his ear off....and ate it Ever since then my party has a good laugh about the Mike Tyson paladin who had enough of other peoples shit

Here's a fun story that happened quite recently! My party (Tiefling Warlock, Human Fighter, and a Vampire/Human Rogue) wandered the country in search of adventure. Early on in the campaign they became governors for a town (Warlock got some good CHA rolls and the RP was good enough that they got the town). They soon got bored of all the paperwork and left the town in the hands of one of their NPCs. About 10 levels later they finally returned to the town and found it in ruins. After investing the ruins they found this horribly mutated Adult Blue Dragon with multiple eyes along its back. After killing the beast they found a small lab under the town hall, inside of which where two mindflayers and the NPC they left to run the town. They suprised the flayers and the fighter spent all his action surges and destroyed the flayers before they could cast any spells. After talking to the NPC it turns out that the NPC summoned the mindflayers to try to make a warlock pact with them, because he felt so much weaker than the players. Loved that session even if it ended in the warlock killing the NPC

One of the more memorable moments from my main group was when I was play a tiefling moon Druid and my friend was playing a dwarf paladin and we were defending a wall from attacking dwarfs. Everything was going well, our eldeitch Knight and barbarian we’re keeping one side covered, our warlock, rouge and ranger were attacking at a range and me and the paladin were keeping the other side covered, then one of the dwarfs enlarged themselves and picked up the paladin, everyone started panicking. When it came to my turn I had an idea, I took my spell focus and cast thorn whip hoping it would free him and thanks the some high rolls it worked and the paladin smited the dwarf out of existence

Building an entire dungeon around a single concept such as sight or the lack thereof is an extremely clever idea. The monk (I'm not sure how to spell his name) is my favorite.

I made a character using a homebrew from Walrock (Not warlock. Walrock... pretty dope homebrew creator) It was a fighter archetype called the brawler. Essentially punch harder - The Class. Did I mention this particular character is a large runic construct with 4 arms. He has so far slammed a large enemy into a wall discovering a hidden room. [Investigation?] Jumped through a waterfall of acid. [Acrobatics?] And went to jail after killing an eldritch beast. [There was a bigger one.] Moral of the story? FIST.

Loving these videos! Here's a story from my party if anyone cares to read, Yikes. It goes a little bit like this. Our party consists of me playing a, a Silver Dragonborn Necromancer, and my other friends, a Wood elf Paladin, a Tiefling Druid, a Aarakocra Pigeon Monk and at the time, a Half-Elf rogue, who has since left the campaign. (All of us were female save for the Pigeon Monk, Yikes) Anyway so, Our characters were resting at the tavern, and the Druid had gotten considerably drunk. She rolled a terrible constitution save, and so was a little off her rocker, and running around the room. My character, The Dragonborn Necromancer, was tasked with going to get a sobering drink to solve the situation. So she got said drink and came back upstairs, to give it to the Druid. It's also important to note that the Pigeon Monk was out right now, and only the Paladin, Necromancer, Rogue and Druid were in the room. What proceeded to happen was this: I put the sobering drink down on the table, and pull out a bracelet I've recently bought. My characters, kinda mean, so she bought this bracelet that makes anyone who wears it look like a goblin, and she wanted to give it a try, before the Druid sobered up. The Druid was cradling a rock, and so, I offered to put the bracelet on the rock, and then slip it on her. The drunk druid, sees herself in the mirror, and F R E A K S out. My character blocks the door so the Druid-Goblin can't get out, while the others try to catch her. Rather unfortunately, the drunk Druid seen another exit. The window of our room, on the fourth floor of the building. Everyone tries to stop her, but she manages to escape and jumps out the window exclaiming "Obama means family." To the Rogue who is reaching to save her, before the Druid pulls away her arm and falls. (Obama is a centaur who raised her in the woods, not even kidding) Luckily, the Rogue called out the Druid's name, and our Pigeon Monk, who was on his way back heard this, and dove to save the Druid. He wouldn't have saved her if he hadn't heard her name, because she currently looked like a goblin. Anyway, basically, Monk throws himself underneath her, and breaks her fall, and also breaks his wings, and a few ribs, and the goblin bracelet is lost. But everyone lived, so that's a plus, I guess! (Until the Druid almost gets killed on an easy encounter with a gnoll, and is now permanently mute, but that's a story for another time.)

Aaaah dude, I wanna know how this ends! Welp, I guess I'll have to speak about my (mis)adventures: So I ran a campaign with 3 friends, using a homebrew system similar to D&D. I dm, and this time there were just the 2 girls. One, Luna, was a human kinda-jedi with a double sword (like darth maul's), and the other, Acuatis, was a human water-bender with scales armor. (I should point out the two were really new to roleplaying) They arrived at this wooden coastal town, looking for Anette, a brothel mermaid girl who was missing from a town they visited before. This town smelled like fish and algae. They find Anette, who was now an opera singer. She was giving a concert in a theatre next to the sea. They got attacked by some sahuaginn but defeated them no problem. The town was synister. They stayed for the night in a inn. The room only had two beds, one table, AND A WINDOW. So they sleep, but are waken up by loud pounding on the door, and they hear monstrous grunts and dozens of wet footsteps. Luna prepares and opens the door. They see dozens of amphibian abominations, with lots of teeth, mouths, eyes and tentacles. They have to roll a d20 greater than 10 or they get paralyzed with fear, and every turn they have to roll higher. They start failing and swiftly get mauled and eaten. But they wake up, in the same room, and hear the pounding again (this was a warning dream). So any intelligent person would just jump out of the window. But NO. This time Acuatis opens the door and yells "Chucha, a ver, que les pasa a ustedes?!". And they get eaten again. I facepalm hard. I am a lenient DM, and they are both new to this, so I let them retry again. They jump out the window and run though dark alleys evading the deep ones and arriving at the theatre. There is Anette, who is now the queen of the deep ones and transforms into an eldritch sea abomination. She strangles them with tentacles while singing opera. They defeat her and get the hell away from that town to never return.

Recent campaign story from a few sessions ago. Playing Pathfinder, party consists of a druid (me), a ranger, the twins who were a cleric and sorcerer (they weren't here for this session), and Twig. We'll get to Twig later. Our job is to help secure a valley where a new trade route is being built, and we were exploring the forests looking for stuff when we came across a few trees that had been literally covered in web to the point that they formed a solid, vision-blocking barrier. I cast a spell which allows me to see from a point in the air several hundred feet above me, and I could see three Large spiders and one Huge spider. I looked at Twig, Twig looked at me, and we knew what had to be done: *the BirbTurret*. Twig is two things: a plant leshy, essentially a humanoid plant; and a kineticist, which is basically Avatar the Last Airbender in a class. As a part of his racial abilities he can transform into a vine in order to sleep and absorb sunlight, and his kineticist abilities allow him to shoot spikes of wood at high velocity as a ranged attack, which he can also do in vine form. For my part, I wild-shaped into a giant eagle, proper Lord of the Rings size birb, and he wrapped his vine form around me. 120ft-range wood blasts that deal on average 30-40 damage per shot are scary enough, then we mounted it to a bird with a top speed of 320ft/round. No escape, no surrender. (If you do decide to use this one for your next comments stories video, look up a pathfinder Leaf Leshy, you're looking for the thing wearing an orange peel as a hat)

Not really a dungeon, but something funny that happened to my party once (long story): We were a dwarf warrior, orc sorcerer, human rogue and human cleric (pretty standard party) on a rescue mission in a dungeon somewhere bellow the big city the campaign was happening. I don't remember exactly, but we were around level 8, and our spellcaster had just learned "explosive runes" (you know, the one that lets you write something and when someone reads it, it goes boom) and was being pretty creative with it (this is important). We finally found the guy we were looking for (a high ranking officer of the rebellious group we were aiding) and the sorcerer writes something in a paper and tosses it to his captor saying something like "this are our demands". At this point the party and the GM were like: "oh, sleepy runes, this is going to be very sneaky" and, when the captor reads the note EVERYTHING IN THE ROOM EXPLODED, including the guy we were trying to save, which became a pile of ash instantly. We decided to save the ashes in a empty bottle of wine that our dwarf always carried around with him and went out of the dungeon. The worst part is, when we were trying to apologize to the rebellion for killing his officer, the dwarf, out of nowhere and without saying a word DRINKS THE MOTHERF ASHES.

Here's something for the second comment vid. I had made a new character for Adventure League that was a gold dragonborn draconic sorcerer that was a noble of Waterdeep, and he ended up getting shot dead in the final encouter, not knowing what was going on due to the warehouse having darkness cast all over the inside by a bunch of drow Our party had a lv 4 human hexblade warlock that had devil's sight, a lv 2+ aarakocra monk, a wood elf ranger, a lv 1 human druid, a lv 1 wood elf druid and a lv 3 half orc barbarian What happened was we were chasing this chick after the party told her to stop making maps that led to the location of one of the masked lords of Waterdeep, that also happened to be a vampire. She led us to a warehouse where the barbarian decided to just go ahead and open the door What greeted us was pure darkness. My character used his arcana skills and realized that the darkness was magical. But with only one party member being able to see threw it, my character didn't know if the entire interior was filled with magical darkness or not So my character cast light on the monk before he flew inside to try to find the person we were chasing, so we could capture her But what most of the paty didn't know was that the warehouse had five drow inside and had covered most of the inside with darkness The warlock had gone in fist since he had the highest initiative and cast his own darkness on himself.... Yeah for him since he was the only one who could see... During the drow's turn the gunslinger fires a shot at my character, who along with the ranger were the only ones outside at the time, got a crit and took him out The ranger had a healing potion on her, but she just walked right past my character and headed inside. At the time we didn't realize that my character had been killed outright yet, so if the ranger had helped him he might have survived What makes things worse is that earlier my character had told the city watch that he would be fine. The guards were also watching the half orc, but they were convinced to leave us be Once the party realized I was actually dead they blamed the barbarian for his death saying he wad an accomplice to murder, as well as the ranger for not helping him when she had the chance At least the party avenged me ans killed all the enemies in the end, even the chick who turned out to be a drow wearing a hat of disguise

i have a lot of stories and this is easily the one i love the most. this happened less than a week ago. i was a Tiefling Rogue named Orin. there were 3 other party members. A sorcerer named Kaxai, a barbarian named Sockratees and a druid named Boxor. we were in a town that was known for a mysterious fountain called the Draconic Sea. it looked like 3 dragons coiled around each other with their tails forming a small pool. there was a plaque on a stand in front of a short pillar with a white crystal in a cage on top. the plaque read ''the gem of the ancients contains the energy of light''. Sockratees, being an illiterate barbarian, decided to take his axe and SWING AT THE CRYSTAL! Our DM just put his head in his hands, sighs and said ''make a strength check''. Sockratees succeeds of course cuz hes a barbarian. You could just see the furious rage in his eyes. he describes as everything goes white and we feel the sensation of falling. When we regain our sight we realize that we are on a marble platform in the sky. I look over the side of the platform and the ground is no where to be seen. There are 2 guards with a door behind each. they explain that one tells only the truth and the other only lies. they have to figure out which one tells the truth and go through their gate. Kaxai and Boxor are discussing how to solve this puzzle, Sockratees is freaking out and Orin has had just about enough about this. Orin walks up to one of the guards and stabs him. Everyone looks at me in panic. I ask the remaining guard ''is he dead?''. the living guard says ''No''. I walk through the dead guards door and appears at a marble bridge. We walked along the bridge and were jumped by holy knights. They said nothing and attacked us. We were able to power through, thanks to some good rolls and a well placed fireball curtosy of Kaxai. Boxor pulled of one of the knights helmets and to his surprise, they looked like they were stitched together. We decided to ignore it and treck forward. We enter a long hallway and walk to the other side. we turned around and the door we enter from was now only 5 ft away. We just thought of it as an illusion and go through the other door. When we get to the other side, we were in a forest next to a cliff. very different than the cloudy aesthetic from before. We see a wooden shack and the edge of the cliff with 3 of the stitched people guarding it. We were obviously supposed to sneak in but NOPE! Sockratees just had to charge in and cut off one of the guards heads. Snakes poured from the wound. We were all very disturbed but we went on. I threw an oil flask at one of the guards and cast firebolt. The oil set on fire and snakes poured from every oraphice. However, the fire hit the house and it began to fall off the cliff. Boxor turned into a spider and got on the back of the house, threw some web on some nearby trees and tried to stop the house like the train from spiderman 2. The house falls and only an obsidian door remained. Boxor climbed back up the mountain and we went through the door. we saw a man in a black cloak sturring a cauldren in a dark room only lit from some glowing emerald green potions on tables on each side of the room. The man turned around. He was wearing a plague mask. he giggled psychotically and introduced himself. ''Heheh... Hello!... my name is Claksworth. Well i guess this was nice but if you please... Die! I'm not an animator but. I know Pros bring more Animation into it with a few tricks. Trick 1: Don't animate everything. Only the eyes or a hand that moves fluidly is already enough. Trick two: let the camera flying. Just show a part of the picture and let the camera float over the complete picture. Hope it's help you

In one of the fights in my current campaign we fought a mind flayer. And My paladin got paralysed through out the entire fight due to failing intelligence saving throws and as soon as I do pass the saving throws and is able to fight. The artificer (who kept on missing the last two sessions) lands the finishing blow. I was so gutted that my character could do nothing the interest fight🙃🙃

probably the craziest "dungeon" my group ever did wasn't even supposed to be a dungeon, things just went south real fast as opposed to fantasy D&D it was in a star wars RPG called edge of the empire the characters were my character IG-87, an assassin droid that had developed a conscious, my atromech partner R2-A37 that ironically was a murder machine , the leader of the darkside of our group a sith jawa named lord Mitum with an army of battle droids, a darkside experiment sidi, and then two clones, Sear a veteran who was stranded during the clone wars and then thrall who was frozen until recently so hes still young and now a storm trooper. and then an NPC jedi kid named brody and a little girl Clawdite (shapeshifter) but basically what happened was we had docked our (stolen) capital ship in an imperial space station that was like a giant mall we were there going after a bounty target of my droid character that was worth alot to a pirate we had captured but that really didnt matter when certain things were set in motion. while my droid was looking for the target the two clones and the jedi ended up searching for the little girl as she had snuck away from the party sidi the darside user got bored during this and had been wanting to go after this other darkside user that's out campaigns big bad at the moment. so he goes off with two battle droids to look for a pilot to fly him the station doesn't allow blasters and battle droids are illegal (my assassin droid has rogue level stealth so he got past fine) but the battle droids got caught at the gate so he just abandoned them and hired a pilot and flew off in one of our smaller ships. unfortunately for the rest of us the battle droids that got caught alerted the empire at the station so our ship was discovered and surrounded by troops while those in the station were being hunted down. first the older clone sear was captured and brought to an interrogation room where there were the two battle droids that had been captured and they proceeded to annoy him the rest of the session. meanwhile stormtroopers began firing rockets at our docked capital ship when our leader the sith jawa mitum was inside trying to disarm bombs on the pirate ship we had captured. the piate captain told us they were on a deadman switch so killing her would set them off when the attack started the jawa was alerted and hacked into the station's security to gain control of the situation. he then used the external speakers on the ship and gave an amazing speech about how he wants to reform the empire and he actually was able to get a group of stormtroopers to stop firing but then the pirate captain that had been annoying the whole party since we met her was going to start shooting at the stormtroopers outside this was the last straw for our jawa as he egnited his lightsaber straight into her chest which turned out to be a bad idea as there was apparantly a thermal detonater IN HER HEAD (no wonder she didnt seem to bright) the explosion heavily damaged our ship and nearly killed our jawa leader and his super tactical droid the ship then began to explode more and damaged the space station as well ... and this is when everything started going downhill literally my assassin droid and the others still in the station had been cornered by stormtroopers when explosions rocked the station in the confusion we were able to escape through a hidden door to a maintenance hatch when the entire station began tilting sideways which meant the hallway we were in soon became a slope and then like a elevator shaft. my droid had magnet boots to help him and the R2 had a jetpack but even then it was getting crazy. we were trying to get to the security level we thought our other clone was being held at. meanwhile that clone who was planning an escape was surprised as the imperials on the other side of the door began panicking and ran out it was about this time our wayward sith returned on his trip with his pilot who had been calm through their entire adventure. until now. as they returned to the station there was a super star destoyer hovering over the space station that was now sinking in orbit. they ended up in a dog fight with TIE fighters and flew straight through the space station docking bay and out the other side to destroy the fighters chasing them. they then landed in the station where everything was on fire and exploding and they saw our capital ship was destroyed. the sith used his lightsaber to cut through the ship's door and went inside where he found the half dead sith jawa. with help of the stormtroopers that had been convinced by the speech earlier they were able to get to our smaller ship an escape along with the NPC Jedi and little girl who made it there safely meanwhile our old man clone was about to try to bust down the door of the cell he was in when safety protocol kicked in an the door opened automatically allowing him and the insane "jailbird" battle droids to escape as the station continued to turn sideways they were barley able to make it to an escape pod it was at this time the group my assassin droid was with arrived just in time to see them leave in an escape pod as things began exploding around us we barley made it to the last reaming pod, our crazy R2-A37 fling in and smacking its head on the launch button as we all flew away from the station we had barley escaped alive we saw as it continued to turn and fall in orbit as it collapsed in on itself the DM did not expect the session to end up like that though to be fair it was the 2nd big space station we had blown up but the first was on purpose when fired a malevolence style ion blast at our ship so we were justified did not expect writing out this story to be so long

That Kenku met his unfortunate AND NOT CANON HES STILL ALIVE IT WAS A ONE OFF GAH SHUSH end when the Adventures league party was in’s Dm just sorta, didn’t show up, so the shop owner had to take over and we woke up in a black abyss with no walls and visible roof the only physical object being the strange wet floor covered in gravel, their was also gas that kept making us take Con saves of pass out. after a while we realized that if you poked the floor with metal, the room would fill with fire, only if you were prone you wouldn’t take damage. This would temporarily get rid of the gas as well, after about 30 minutes I rolled a high enough arcana to realize we were in one of Tiamat’s mouths, but I was a kenku, with none of my non weapon items (yeah I don’t know) so I was freaking out when the ranger also roles high enough to realize, I roll again and the dm whispers “you can make a deal with her”(I’m the only neutral character everyone else is good) so I’m like well let’s see if I can tell everyone else this as they are more... wordy. But the owner leaves to handle a client and the FRICKIN PALADIN just decides peeing in her mouth is the best course of action, so yeah when he gets back my attempt to communicate with charades and writing using my blood on my cloak is foiled by 5 idiots simultaneously pissing in the mouth of a god, she is understandably pissed and swallows us, melting us instantly I know this is to long to be in a video or anything but I hope someone will enjoy reading this

Ok so I think I want to give you my story. I was playing in a one-shot server. It was the DMs second, third time on the server? She felt like giving us a dungeon crawler. Our party was made up of me as Xalar, the green Dragonborn fighter. In the party was Shorthorn, a Minotaur fighter, Garr, a eldritch warden fighter, a paladin named Eric and Kirby, our warlock with Ashie, the best damn fire wolf familiar there ever was. And Break, the 17 year old elf. So we were walking through a forest where we come across this man-made mountain. We climbed up and found a bunch of piles of leaves which was a little suspicious. Then some of them jumped off a cliff which was strange. Then an air elemental appeared and we managed to kill it quick. Unfortunately dying made it blast a load of air, but we made our strength checks and weren’t thrown off the cliff. We talked to the leaves using Ashie, with one going outside with shorthorn. Break sat on a throne, falling through it down to a underground lake that was around 300ft down. Eventually we used entangle to catch him before he hit the water. As we tried to pull him up the bush creatures attacked and we put them down with ease, getting Break out fine. We walked back down from the temple into a system of caves with ten entrances. The first encounter was a hoard of gold. I think you can guess what happened... Midway through our fight Break uses a guild charm (as we are in the Ravnica setting) to cast conjure animals to make 8 cows fall from the ceiling. Our DM actually went and found the weight of a cow and calculated the maths. It was enough damage to kill the dragon and the a bit. There were a few nice caves with flowers and crystals. The next combat encounter had *two* skeleton giants (without magic resistance) and three thunder beasts. Xalar went first and respectfully turned one giant into a flamingo with his great sword. Next, our other fighter Shorthorn went up. In one turn he turned the other Skeleton giant into a pile of broken shards. Ashie jumped on top of one of the thunder beasts head as the rest of the party dealt with them. Next turn I rolled poorly so Shorthorn dealt with the flamingo giants half HP. After this the thunder beasts soon followed, Ashie nearly being friendly fired by swing at their heads as he jumped between them, one-shotting one with a critical hit lick cast of inflict wounds. I think we had another combat encounter but it died quick. At the end of the night a player had been keeping track of how many crits were rolled, which numbered around 18. Our Dm has rolled about 10 crit fails and in her recap of the quest described how not only had we defeated the monsters, but we had defeated her. I should probably mentioned we all 3-5 and she added the dragon and air elementals randomly, so it should have been harder but the party took barely any hits. Shorthorn got to keep his leaf-monster as it turned into a bunny shape and he called it Breezy. I know it’s a long story but hell it was fun. We all laugh about the cows today, and it is probably my best D&D moments. I still play with the guys and have fun with them. Hope you all enjoyed reading this at least half as much as I did playing it. Sorry for the VERY long story.
