Man that was epic mate .... Simply one of the most inventive and easy to understand tarp tutorials I've seen so far since I entered a search for a DD Tarp tutorial ... Well Done Bud

First thought was, bad case of OCD. watched it through, and second thought was, pure genius! Will be filing this away in my memory bank for my own use. Thanks! 😃👍

Thats really good. I need to order some quality carabiners and find some wide spread trees to practice on.

very good ideas... just got me a D D tarp and I am going to incorporate your setup into mine with the s hooks that hold up to 5 pounds a piece. Just have not had the best results from those carabiners holding up over time. Thanks for sharing your process. I have helped set up one of these before and I liked it but it is a difficult situation to try and handle on your own and keep it from the ground at the same time.

Why do you use toggles where you already have carabiners? Not hate bro, just and observation, maybe there is a reason I don't know about.

I like this for the A-frame set up, but what if you want a diamond set up? Can it be adapted for that?
@jezlawrence720 Жыл бұрын
Set up your diamond somewhere, attach carabiniers at the key anchor points for initial deployment (2 corners and centre tag). Everything after that is just finding a way to fold, and having a way to mark what's folding where (e.g. different coloured carabiniers, maybe some coloured electrical tape around key tags so you know what to take out of what clip in what order. I can't see a way for *none* of the diamond to touch the floor initially, but it would be minimal.

Are you and all the Commentators on here MENTAL ? That is the most long winded, over engineered, time consuming, procedure I've ever seen for putting a tarp up, in my camping experience of over 40 yrs, or on Y.tube..As for keeping it off the ground I've never seen anyone that has it on the ground anyway ! ! !

Some people just like to do things a certain way🤷♂️but yeah this looks like a bit of a palaver.
@Chris66able2 жыл бұрын
@@GG-ml3vr I know, I get that, but look at some of the comments inferring that his method is genius !

@@Chris66able Do you have this tarp? I've seen reviews on this tarp and one major complaint is that it's nearly impossible to get it back into the stuff bag. He doesn't seem to have this problem.....163 likes and 0 dislikes....MENTAL????
