I suppose it depends. It's not common knowledge that that warlock is immune but if it's an elf, it may be common knowledge that they're resistant. I guess it just depends

@@omnishangout747 I always want to make a Pact of the Blade Warlock with a nasty sword with medium armor (through a feat) just to encourage NPC's to do so and given that one of the abilities is close range and the other triggers on hit I kind of hope it works out, but is definitely not the easiest build to make.

I like the idea that the Archfeys sorrow comes from the loss of her patrons, and creates an endless cycle of sorrow for themself and all who get involved. Super juicy

Canonically the “Nobel Genie” is dead gods, when they die they wake up a Genie wherever realm they would “emotionally” belong to. Also, the Djinn is actually Chaotic Good - they reward/pay their “slaves” and they have personal relationships with them. Djinni’s are more akin to a parent or a teacher than they are oppressive super villains or whatever.

Arch Fey patrons can be hecka diverse. Like the books basically give you a few names of Fey Lords then tell ya if not that then hags. But their can be so much more. I came up with a very powerful, likely immortal Eladrin Elf who calls himself the Silver Prince and built this manor in the Fey Wild backwoods where he met my warlock who is this adorable Elfling who is from the prime plain back woods and likes to bake and study arcana.

Same thing with every warlock, just because the flavor text is a emo edge lord doesn’t mean you have to do the same. I play a Djinni with her grandmother as her patron. 🤷‍♂️ Their vessel is a large two story apartment that always smells like freshly baked cookies…complete with plastic wrap on the couches downstairs etc.

I recently started a genasi djin warlock. I'm loving him. My vessel is a pocket watch. He is a Doa descendant weapon pack using a club (reflavored as a batton). Obsidian skin, long blond hair, golden iris and the whites of my eyes are black. His name is James Waller. He is searching for an artifact his patron desperately wants. He is literally just out for money, power, fame, and women and feels a little bad because his party all have selfless goals, so he is generous with helping npc's. He is so much fun.

I’d go with GOO or Hexblade. GOO has the aberration feel to it and Hexblade is vague enough in its patron it could be almost any powerful entity granting magic warrior powers.

My character is pact of blade warlock. 8th level. Medium armor feat for half plate plus sheild for 19 ac. Warforged fey pact. Getting 2 attacks with a +1 warhammer and you can use eldritch smite for extra damage

5:36 no no no, it lasts for 6 seconds, not an hour. So for SIX SECONDS, if you wanna use the charm choice, the all charmed creatures just won’t attack you the warlock, but your allies are still an option, while the frightened choice makes all frightened creatures to have disadvantage on attack rolls while the warlock is on their visual field
