This is my amateur shot footage from the beach at Southsea of the D-Day 50th Anniversary fleet review and flypast on the 5th June 1994.
Lots of Ship and Aircraft footage here, we had a prime spot for the Fleet review which sailed past headed by the Royal Yacht Britannia with the Queen onboard, followed by multiple different types of Ships, and then a flypast of vintage and modern (at the time) aircraft.
I'm no ship expert but I think there are ships here from multiple different Navies representing the Allied Forces of WWII.
The flypast included such aircraft as -
Gliders being towed.
C-47/DC-3
Swordfish
Lancaster/Spitfire/Hurricane/Blenheim
Hawks in '50' formation
Tornados
F-111
F-16s
F-15
Mirage 2000
Mig-23
Mig-29
Super Etendard
F-4E Phantoms
F-14
F-15
C-130
Sea King
Concorde.
Also uploaded to my channel is some film from the day before this flypast shot at Yeovilton containing all the aircraft on the ground, and also some TV programmes covering this historic event.
