Small note: On the War Stories cards, the icon in the top left corner tells you which tokens you'll need.

Also: Last Man Standing numbers are included in the various scenario books for ALL Battle Maps, in every expansion (look in the Map description). The idea behind this module is to invert the tension of the game. Normally, you are most tense in the first few sectors, as you have a very limited amount of Soldiers, and when you arrive near the Bunker, it becomes clear whether you'll succeed or not. With Last Man Standing, it's the other way around: first sectors are easy, but as you see your Soldiers disappear, the Bunker becomes more and more difficult to conquer. Playing with this mode forces you to move faster, too. So if you find a map too easy, just try it with this module.

I'm going to follow your advice, get Way to Hell and War Stories expansions.

Those are the best! The modules I use when playing are the way to hell module, war heroes module, service men, legendary units module and badges module. So the only one missing is the badges module which is featured in the atlantikwall expansion, but I would say that it's the least important module out of the ones I recommend using. Play all the battle maps with these modules until you have won at least once, then choose your favorite battle map(s) and play all scenarios from war stories, winning at least once. You got fun stuff to do for months!

Uhm, I'm starting to get a hunch that you might like D-Day Dice a lot ;-D ... but, on a more serious note: I think I should start taking this game into consideration. I've always sort of shunned it but, seeing your level of appreciation for it, it might be worth taking a deeper look at it. Thanks for the review, by the way!

haha, you don't say! Well, at it's most basic, with just the main game, it is little more than a luck driven filler. But with the right modules, it becomes a beast of it's own. I intend to do a playthrough video one day, playing it will all my favorite modules. It becomes quit cool!
