Battle Systems have really worked out there system here. Core Space: First Born was a huge Win in my book and Maladum just feels so natural and so well done!

I’m totally new to tabletop gaming (in my mid 40s!), and Maladum is the first ever game I have tried, having begun the starter scenario just last night! There’s a lot to learn, but it certainly is an impressive system in my humble noob opinion! 😅

Thank you for putting this together. The rule book is horrendous for such a simple 2 action economy game. Sure enough it took me hours of reading to figure out and find how to even set up a party. The rule book really set me back from jumping in and enjoying the game. So I'm relying on videos to get me back into it for a second try. Hope to see more of this game on the channel.

Absolutely, and no worries. I do understand there's a lot packed into the book. I have also been flipping back and forth ,and would prefer some better formatted sections. But I;m going to press on as It's an exciting game! I will have an upcoming gameplay video coming out soon, with hopefully more to follow!

I just purchased the KS edition this weekend from Amazon. Won't receive it until November 20th. I'm also considering the two extra expansions the forbidden Creed and the Oblivion's Maw.

I ended up getting those on the secondary market myself, as I was a knucklehead and didn't get those when i backed the KS.

The hardcover version comes with the kickstarter edition of the box set.

@@kikkisu Well, thats very true. I find that there are times where It helps me capture the essence of a video in a short period of time without getting stuck in the editing weeds. I don't think it detracts, but I know some people aren't embracing of any AI imagery. I also find that it allows me to be creative without necesarily having the artistic skills to build an image from nothing. Cheers!
