🛠 D.I.Y Rc Trailer Build for Twin Haul Boat 🔩

Welcome to the channel, my name is Justin and I’m here to share my Rc experience from south Florida with all of you.

The tools I used are: Dremel, file, tin snipes/cutters, tape measure, rivet gun w/ rivets.
The materials used were: angle aluminum, flat bar aluminum, sheet of aluminum, threaded rod, eye hook for tow hitch, double side A/C foam tape and shoe goo. (All found at Home Depot)
Piece of brake line from auto store.

what is the measurement of the teter toter axles

Looks great simple and great steps thanks, my only concern at the finished trailer is the rudder looks very close to the ground, i assume if the centre channels were a touch higher or the front middle support was a touch lower so the hull sat face down more, but il test when i make my first one

Not sure the exact size but it was the only c channel they had, might be a standard size for that particular piece

Forgot to ask before, wouldn't you get interference by not plugging the wheels somehow... letting water in them and soaking the foams? I wonder if that green/ black boat showed on RC SAYLORS would also fit on the FT1011 trailer? 🤔 find out, thinking about getting that one too.

Lyle Kehrer never really bothered with it on my first couple trailers.... I think it goes too slow to even notice but definitely would hurt to do 💯👍🏼 yeah that vhaul trailer from the ft011 would work well with many around that same size for sure.

If your asking as a custom build, I’m not building any as of now but the materials shouldn’t cost more than $80-$100 which isn’t bad considering how much these type of trailers cost online 👍🏼 Hope this video helps on any future builds bro
